Identification source. Keyed using Zhou et al. (2017) and compared with the original description.

Previous record. This species was described from Dong Nai by Lelej (2012).

Distribution. Thailand. Vietnam: Dong Nai, Dak Lak *.

Occurrence in Vietnam. January, February, May, June, October. Southern Annamites montane rain forests and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions. 100–760 m alt.

Sex association. This species was initially described from the female only. The male was recognized by Williams et al. (2019b) based on a pair in copula but has not been formally associated and described yet.

Remarks. The holotype of this species was collected from the litter in a semi-deciduous forest in southern Vietnam.
