Distribution. Malaysia. Thailand. Vietnam *: Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh.
Occurrence in Vietnam. March, April, August, October. South China-Vietnam subtropical evergreen forests, Northern Indochina subtropical forests, and Northern Vietnam lowland rain forests ecoregions. 500 m alt. Forest.
Sex association. Male unknown.
Remarks. Unlike other Orientidia females, this species has a narrow spine-like scutellar scale. Discovery of the male could confirm its placement in Orientidia or necessitate its transfer to a different genus, possibly Promecidia Lelej, 1996 .

Pagdenidia Lelej, 1996b: 7 , ♂ ♀; Lelej 2005: 69; Lelej & Brothers 2008: 42 View Cited Treatment ; Pagliano et al. 2020: 254. Type species: Timulla (Trogaspidia) mickeli Pagden, 1949 (♂ ♀, holotype ♂), by original designation.
Diversity and distribution. This Oriental genus includes seven species (Lelej 2005; Pagliano et al. 2020).
Remarks. Of the seven Pagdenidia species, six species are known from the male only and one species, Pa. mickeli , is known from both sexes. This genus was reviewed by Pagden (1949) as the Timulla (Trogaspidia) erato group. His identification key includes six species known at that time.
