Distribution. China. Vietnam *: Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Vinh Phuc, Dak Lak, Dong Nai.

Occurrence in Vietnam. April to June, August. South China-Vietnam subtropical evergreen forests, Northern Indochina subtropical forests, Southern Annamites montane rain forests, and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions. 100–1342 m alt.

Sex association. Female unknown.

Remarks. The Vietnamese specimens slightly vary in the leg coloration from entirely black to black with various portions orange.
