Identification source. Compared with voucher specimens from Thailand ( Williams et al. 2019b) [THNHM].
Previous record. This species was recorded from Hoa Binh by Okayasu (2020).
Distribution. China. Laos. Malaysia. Thailand. Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau *.
Occurrence in Vietnam. January, July. Northern Indochina subtropical forests and Southern Vietnam lowland dry forests ecoregions.
Sex association. This species was described from both sexes collected at the same place and time.
Remarks. This is a relatively widespread species and one of the most commonly encountered smicromyrmine species in Thailand ( Williams et al. 2019b).
