Identification source. Voucher specimens ( Okayasu et al. 2021b).

Previous record. This species was recorded from Gia Lai, Hanoi, Ha Son Binh (now Hoa Binh), and Thua Thien Hue by Lelej (1995b), Okayasu (2020), and Okayasu et al. (2021b).

Distribution. China. Taiwan. India. Indonesia. Japan. Laos. Malaysia. Thailand. Vietnam: Son La *, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Gia Lai, Dong Nai *.

Occurrence in Vietnam. June to August, October. Northern Indochina subtropical forests, Red River freshwater swamp forests, Northern Vietnam lowland rain forests, Southern Vietnam lowland dry forests, and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions. 160–1400 m alt. Forest.

Sex association. Male unknown.

Remarks. This is the most widespread Andreimyrme species and is variable in color and setation ( Okayasu et al. 2021b).
