Kentucky counties (Map 10): Calloway (1). The single Kentucky specimen was collected in the Mississippi Valley Loess Plains ecoregion in far western KY .

Natural History: Bøving & Champlain (1920) reported this species being found feeding on an infestation of Scolytus rugulosus (Muller) in peach trees ( Prunus ) in GA. Leavengood (2008b) reported the following plant associations from label data: reared from pigeon plum ( Coccoloba diversifolia ) and poisonwood ( Metopium toxiferum ); collected from flowers of bitter orange ( Citrus aurantium ), butterfly bush ( Senna (as Cassia ) bicapsularis), chestnut ( Castanea alnifolia), littleleaf buckbrush ( Ceanothus microphyllus ), Ocimum campechianum (as O. micranthum ), partridge pea ( Cassia fasciculata ), and southern live oak ( Quercus virginiana ).
