Distribution: CA to TX to KS and CO and south to central Mexico, with eastern specimens taken in IL, OH, NY and RI.

- Recorded from: AZ, CA, CO, IL, KS, NM, NV, NY, OH, RI, TX and Mexico ( Wolcott 1947; Papp 1960; Foster & Barr 1972; Sikes 2003).

Natural History: This rarely collected species has little known about its habits. Adults have been collected on white sweetclover ( Melilotus albus ) (Foster & Barr 1972) and reared from the grass Sporobolus in NM ( Mawdsley 2002b).
