Vertex slightly narrower than pronotum. Pronotum width twice its median length. Fore wing slightly translucent or opaque, 1st apical cell wide, apical cells progressively shorter from 1st to 3rd, 4th apical cell equal in length to 1st apical cell. Abdominal apodemes well-developed.</p><p>Male genitalia: Genital capsule well sclerotized. Pygofer side irregularly-shaped, with or without sclerotized appendage at hind upper angle, covered by several or many gracile microsetae, and bearing several macrosetae at its upper margin in some species. Subgenital plate comparatively broad with oblique row of macrosetae and sparse, fine microsetae along outer margin. Connective lamellate and subtriangular. Paramere robust with apical extension and large preapical lobe. (Figs. 1, 4, 7, 10–15)</p><p>Body sandy beige. Pair of longitudinal brown streaks at sides of coronal suture and irregularly-shaped dark brown patches on pronotum, scutum with three blackish patches, scutellum dark brown. Fore wing sandy beige with veins semitransparent, hind wing weakly semitransparent with veins brownish-black (Figs. 1, 4).</p><p>Male genitalia: Pygofer with sclerotized appendage at hind upper angle (Fig. 10). Subgenital plate broad, nearly triangular (Fig. 11). Apical extension of paramere short, curved laterad apically (Fig. 12). Penis compressed, tapering apically and proximad (Figs. 14, 15). Gonopore ventral.</p><p>Measurement: Male 3.2 mm (including wing).</p><p>Material examined: Holotype 3, Sichuan Prov., Kangding, 3900m, 6 November 1999, coll. (Figs. 2, 5, 8, 16–22)</p><p>Body brown. Pair of round brownish-black patches at sides of coronal suture and other irregularly shaped dark brown patches on pronotum, scutum orange-yellow with three blackish patches, scutellum yellowish brown (Fig. 2). Fore wing yellowish brown with patches between light bordered veins, hind wing weakly semitransparent with veins yellowish brown.</p><p>Male genitalia: Pygofer with sclerotized appendage at its blunt hind upper angle (Fig. 17). Margin of subgenital plate folded dorsad at midlength with apex rounded (Fig. 18). Apical extension of paramere straight, tapered (Fig. 19). Penis stem smooth, with narrow apodeme and two long, thin apical processes pointed apically (Figs. 21, 22). Gonopore apical.</p><p>Measurement: Male 2.9 mm (including wing); Female 3.0 mm (including wing).</p><p>Material examined: Holotype 3, Sichuan Prov., Emeishan Mountain: Xixiangchi, 9 September 1988, coll. Pair of round brown patches at sides of coronal suture and big brown bell-shaped patch on pronotum, scutum with three brownish-black patches, scutellum with a brownish-black ringlike patch (Fig. 3). Fore wing sandy beige with veins lighter and with two dark brown spots near middle section of costal or lateral margin, hind wing sandy beige with veins brown.</p><p>Male genitalia: Pygofer broad with sclerotized appendage at its hind upper angle (Fig. 25). Lateral margin of subgenital plate folded dorsad at midlength with apex rounded (Fig. 26). Apical extension of paramere straight, tapered (Fig. 27). Penis stem with sculpture on its ventral side subapically, broad apodeme and two apical processes lamellate subapically (Figs. 29, 30). Gonopore apical.</p><p>Measurements: Male 3.2–3.4 mm (including wing); Female 3.2–3.5 mm (including wing).</p><p>Material examined: Holotype 3, Sichuan Prov., Gonggashan, 2400m, 5 November 1999, coll.
