03E787856D7DFFA1DFC4F18DE37305E4.taxon	discussion	Comments. This new species is here placed in the genus Cryptoparlatoreopsis due to the following characters: (i) presence of a single strong antennal seta, (ii) sclerotization of macroduct orifices on pygidial margin, (iii) marginal setae of pygidium elongate and strong, (iv) median lobes (L 1) joined along the inner margin at base; and (v) second lobes (L 2) much smaller than median lobes. C. kermanensis is closest to C. meccae (Hall) in having: (i) median lobes (L 1) partially contiguous near their bases, (ii) second lobes (L 2) small and conical, (iii) fleshy fingershape plates absent from pygidium and prepygidial segments, and (iv) association with Tamarix. However, C. kermanensis differs as follows (character-states for C. meccae in brackets): (i) adult female completely oval (broadly pyriform with parallel sides), (ii) anterior spiracles without disc pores (with disc pores), (iii) 4 pairs large and strong setae present on pygidial margin (at least 6 pairs on pygidium and prepygidial margin). Also C. kermanensis comes close to C. longispina (Takahashi) in having: (i) fleshy finger-shape plates absent from pygidium and prepygidial segments, and (ii) median lobes (L 1) closely placed but differs in having (character-states for C. longispina in brackets): (i) adult female completely oval (pyriform), and (ii) 4 long setae present on each of pygidial side (about 7 on pygidium and prepygidium).	en	Moghaddam, Masumeh (2021): Three new species of armoured scale insect (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha Diaspididae) from Iran.
