VENEZUELA, Miranda, “ Parque Nacional El Avila ”, elevation 1400 m, in Eucalyptus litter of dry slope, 28.NOV.1977, coll. P.T. Lehtinen.</p><p>The material has no legs available and a single palp.</p><p>Diagnosis: Anal valves with 9 stout ribbed setae. Papl tibia with 39+ r setae, genu with 9+ r e 2 p setae. Palp tarsus with 10 d, 20 ch, 8 sm, 3 s, 8 sm, 4 v1, 3 v2 setae. Tarsi II-IV with 4 pairs of long serrated v setae and a pair of lightly bifid lv setae.</p><p>Note: this species was originally described in Neocarus, but presents 10 d type pectinate setae, as noted in the illustrations of the original work, which was confirmed by checking the type material.
