Anterior margin of pronotum almost straight, posterior margin incised in the middle; median carina distinct; lateral carinae distinct, curved, width between lateral carinae at fore margin narrower than that of hind margin. Tegmina and hind wings are absent. Hind femur slender, length almost equal to 4.4 times maximum width; median carina of hind femur on the upper side smooth, apex without tooth. Hind tibia with 12 spines on the inner side and 13 spines on the outer side (including apical spine), two inner apical spurs not equal in length, upper spur as long as 2 times lower one. Cercus long conical, extending over the end of epiproct. Subgenital plate short conical, apex obtuse.

Female (Figs. 5–7) Body larger and thick. Face oblique weakly. Antennae shorter, not reaching hind margin of pronotum. The vertical diameter of eye 1.3 times the length of subocular groove. Cercus short conical. Subgenital plate projecting into acute angle in the middle of posterior margin. Ovipositor valves wider, upper valve with teeth on the upper side, lower ovipositor valve with a big tooth at middle of lower margin.

Coloration. Body yellowish-brown. Eyes brown. Lateral lobe of pronotum with light oblique stripe. Abdomen with broad dark longitudinal stripe on both sides. Hind leg yellowish-brown.

Measurement (in mm). Length of body: ♂ 9.4-11.8, ♀ 13.8-16.7. Length of pronotum: ♂ 1.3-1.5, ♀ 2.0-2.3. Length of hind femur: ♂ 6.7-8.0, ♀ 8.1-9.8.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to Sinomastax longicornea Yin, 1984 .
