The new records from Ontario’ s Far North fill in a gap, as it was previously reported from Moosonee, Ontario and Manitoba (Fig. 2 b). Blethisa quadricollis inhabits acidic bogs and Sphagnum L. Elaphrus americanus is generally found along wet beaches of organic, coarse, and firm soil (Goulet 1983). Elaphrus americanus has two coloration forms, copper and green, and Goulet (1983) noted intermediate colorations occur as well.
