They are fully developed and morphologically comparable to extant juvenile specimens. The PAO is comparable to extant harrimaniid acorn worms (Figure 3 M), a probable homologue to the pterobranch stalk. The trunk of the juveniles has a length of ~ 1.6 mm in YKLP 14551 (Figure 3 M). Those of juvenile worms to adults range from 2.2 mm to 33 mm long (Figure 1 A-F, Appendix 1).
