03EC6F780C087533A3DBD9FEFAAEFA5C.taxon	description	Notes. This genus was originally placed in Pholcidae, and transferred to Filistatidae by Huber (2009). To date the genus has been considered monotypic (cf. Platnick 2013), but according to our data several described and undescribed species from Central Asia may belong in this genus. Description. Medium-sized filistatids (body length in P. afghana is about 5.5 mm). Carapace broad-oval with moderately produced clypeus. Eye tubercle well-defined, ALE and PLE subequal in size, AME and PME also almost equal to each other, but about half the size of the lateral eyes. Thoracic fovea indistinct. Sternum oval and wider than long, sigillae indiscernible, labium noticeably longer than wide. Palps and legs I – IV, even in females, rather long and slender. Calamistrum consists of two short rows of few sessile setae arranged very close to each other. Paired tarsal claws with several (7 - 9) large and long teeth, unpaired claw short, curved and bare. Endogyna with entire receptacles. Cribellum small bipartite transverse, ALS and PLS subequal in size, PMS much smaller with one PS each. Male characters unknown.	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. F. Roewer from Afghanistan. 03EC6F780C087533A3DBD9FEFAAEFA5C.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Within the Filistatidae Pholcoides is unique in possessing the combination of a medium-sized compact body with carapace and sternum circular or even nearly wider than long and rather long and slender female pedipalps and legs I – IV (unsual for Filistatidae). A very short, broad-oval and steeply inclined clypeus resembles that in species of Zaitunia Lehtinen, 1967 and Microfilistata Zonstein, 1990, but in this case Pholcoides differs by its clearly biseriate calamistrum (arranged in one row in the two other genera).	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C087533A3DBD9FEFAAEFA5C.taxon	discussion	Comments. The shape of the cribellum and calamistrum, and the presence of only one paracribellar gland spigot on the PMS indicates that Pholcoides belongs to Prithinae (Gray 1995; Ramírez & Grismado 1997).	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C0A7537A3DBDC41FB44F920.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Differs from congeners by the triangle-shaped main (median) receptacles, lack of distinct heavily sclerotized pores on receptacles and lack of a stem in the accessorial (lateral) receptacles (cf. 03EC6F780C0A7537A3DBDC41FB44F920.taxon	description	Description. Female. Total length 4.45. Color in alcohol: ground color of body and legs light yellowishorange. Carapace flat (Fig. 18) with distinct blackish-brown eye tubercle; median Y – shaped spot and margins of carapace light to medium brown, as well as narrow transverse fascia on palps and legs, and dorsal abdominal pattern, consisting of five paired and inclined chevrons, partially fused medially and laterally (Figs 16, 18). Maxillae, coxae, labium, sternum and abdomen ventrally pale grayish-yellow (Figs 16 - 18). Carapace (Figs 16, 18 – 19): 1.57 long, 1.15 wide. Eye diameters: AME 0.07, ALE 0.20, PLE 0.14, PME 0.14. Interdistance AME – AME: 0.06. Measurements of legs and palp as shown in Tab. 1. Calamistrum consisting of three distinct rows as shown in Fig. 20. Endogyna as in Figs 14 – 15, with one pairs of main receptacles and one pair of accessorial receptacles attached to terminal part of the main receptacles; main receptacle spaced by about the diameter of the accessorial glands, they have a wide base and a triangular head, median part with a small outgrowth; accessorial receptacles suboval. Male. Unknown. Note. Habitually, T. lindbergi resembles species of Pritha Lehtinen, 1967 to where it was transferred by Lehtinen when he described the genus. But unlike the true Pritha which have a biseriate calamistrum, the considered females have this structure composed of three rows of setae (as in all females of Tricalamus, hence the origin of the last genus name is evident). Other characters, such as rostral shape of the clypeus and the characteristic " subfasciate " coloration of the abdomen also are sufficient grounds for the transfer.	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C0A7537A3DBDC41FB44F920.taxon	description	Zaitunia Lehtinen, 1967: 275. Type species by monotypy — Filistata schmitzi Kulczyński, 1911. Notes. This genus belongs to Filistatinae and currently includes 10 species distributed from the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt) to eastern Kazakhstan (Platnick 2013). They are mostly medium-sized with a body length of 3 – 7 mm, have a short and steeply inclined clypeus and short spatulate setae on tarsi I – IV. Males have long to very long legs with pseudosegmented tarsi, the palpal tibia is relatively short and swollen, and the bulb has an ejaculatory duct tightly coiled 3 – 4 times and the embolus is lamellose. In females metatarsus IV has a very short uniseriate calamistrum on a raised keel; endogyne with two pairs of receptacles; receptacles are not fused.	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C0A7537A3DBDC41FB44F920.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Zaitunia species habitually resemble species of Filistata (particularly, at first sight females are indistinguishable). The main distinctive features of Zaitunia are as follows (the corresponding states in Filistata are enclosed in brackets): 1) the thoracic fovea is absent (well-developed), 2) clypeus short and subvertical (rather long and subhorizontal), sternum subcircular (oval), 3) labium nearly as broad as long (noticeably longer than broad), 4) in males palpal tibia short to very short and swollen (subcylindrical, rather long and slender).	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C0A7531A3DBDE77FD19F951.taxon	description	Notes. So far 13 species are known in the genus (Platnick 2013; Ono 2013). They occur in south China, South Japan and Palau. The body size varies from 2.3 to 6.6 mm. The clypeus is performed into a triangular ‘ rostrum’. Abdomen with dorsal pattern consisting of light paired inclined chevrons, but without a dorsal patch of whitish appressed setae.	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C0A7531A3DBDE77FD19F951.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The genus is rather similar to Pritha Lehtinen, 1967 due to the body shape, and palpal details such as the shape of the bulb and horseshoe-shaped cymbium, but can be easily distinguished by having the calamistrum composed of three rows of setae (two rows in Pritha).	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C. 03EC6F780C0C7535A3DBDDD0FD10FB7A.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The species differs from congeners by the following characters: from Z. schmitzi — by pale-colored body and legs, and better developed eye tubercle (cf. Zonstein 2009: figs 3 – 5); from Z. maracandica (Charitonov, 1946) and Z. martynovae (Andreeva & Tyshchenko, 1969) — by absence of darker dorsal abdominal pattern and the different-shaped ocular region (cf. Charitonov 1946: fig. 3; Andreeva 1976: figs 13 – 14); from Z. monticola (Spassky, 1941) — by having less slender and much shorter anterior legs (cf. Spassky 1941); from the similarly colored Z. beshkentica (Andreeva & Tyshchenko, 1969) — by the shape and position of the spinnerets group (cf. Andreeva 1976: fig. 11); from Z. alexandri Brignoli, 1982, Z. medica Brignoli, 1982, Z. persica Brignoli, 1982, Z. inderensis Ponomarev, 2005 and Z. zonsteini Fomichev & Marusik, 2013 with described and figured female copulative organs — by the different configuration of the receptacles (cf. Carapace (Figs 21, 22, 24): 2.13 long, 1.77 wide. Eye diameters: AME 0.09, ALE 0.23, PLE 0.20, PME 0.20. Interdistance AME – AME: 0.11. Measurements of legs and palp as shown in Tab. 2. Calamistrum placed on small ridge, strongly bent setae arranged in one row (Fig. 25). Genital area of endogyna as in Figs 13, 26 – 27; 2 genital plates covered with fine wrinkles (Figs 13, 26), hairs near epigastric fold long, equal in length to the distance between the lateral margins of the main receptacles; two pairs of receptacles, all receptacles round and separated from each other by the diameter of the accessorial (lateral) receptacles. Male: unknown. Note. A short steeply inclined clypeus, the loss of the thoracic fovea and the presence of short spatulate setae on tarsi I – IV are characteristic for Zaitunia and indicate that the given species belongs in this genus and not to Filistata, as previously assigned.	en	Zonstein, Sergei L., Marusik, Yuri M., Koponen, Seppo (2013): Redescription of three species of Filistatidae (Araneae) described by C.
