Color in life (Figs 2 A, 6, 8) pale, only metaterga 15 – 26 slightly light yellow; eye patches light brownish. Body with 30 segments. Head width = segment 10 – 18> 6 – 9> 5> 4> 3> 2> collum; posterior to segment 19, body gradually tapering towards telson (Fig. 2 A). Head densely setose, clypeolabral region slightly convex. Eye patches composed of 4 – 6 convex ocelli (Fig. 6 B). Antennae (Fig. 3 C) very long and slender, reaching behind posterior (♂) or anterior (♀) margin of body segment 6 when stretched posteriorly; antennomere 7 (= antennomere 8) with four apical cones on stalks (Fig. 3 C – D). Gnathochilarium typical, lamellae linguales large (Fig. 3 A). The new samples were collected from another cave in the same county, both being close geographically. The above material is in good agreement with the original description by Shear (1999). The new samples collected from a cave in the neighbouring Jiangyou City, Sichuan are generally in good agreement with the original description by Golovatch et al. (2006 b). Only the size is smaller: length ca 28.5 (♂) or 30 mm (♀), midbody width 2.5 (♂) or 2.8 mm (♀).
