(lectotype designated here: L barcode L 0450042). Other syntypes: G-DC, L barcodes L 0450039, L 0450040, L 0450041. Note: — The extant species name Litsea cuneata (Blume) Boerl. is not in current use and it has been synonymized with L. tomentosa Blume (1826: 566) by Kostermans (1969: 509). There are at least five sheets collected by Forsten from Celebes. Specimen at L 0450042 is selected here as lectotype because it has an original label by Forsten, annotated with “ In de boschen rond Tondano | Juni 1841 | Laurinae | Celebes ”, and the name “ Tetranthera cuneata Bl ” in Blume’s handwriting. This taxon is known from Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi, New Guinea, and Philippines (Ngernsaengsaruay et al. 2005, de Kok 2017, Brambach & Pelser 2020).	en	Moraes, Pedro Luís Rodrigues De (2021): New names in living Ocotea Aubl.
