03F187CDFF8EFFCFFD246AA0FE2C8B7A.taxon	discussion	Comments. Gymnochilus glaber was regarded as a member of Scolytodes by Wood (2007) because of its 6 - segmented funicle, “ Scolytodes structure ” - type of pronotum, and “ lack other essential characters ”. Because Scolytodes glaber is preocupied by Scolytodes glaber Eichhoff (Eichhoff 1868), Wood (2007) proposed a new replacement name, Scolytodes shoenmanni, for Hexacolus glaber Schedl. Alexander Petrov studied the male holotype of G. glaber in NMW and made a slide mount of the antenna. On the slide, it was obvious that the funicle is 7 - segmented, not 6 - segmented. The " Scolytodes structure " of the pronotum is a poor character to base generic placement as the pronotal form in such a morphologically diverse genus as Scolytodes differs significantly. In addition, the form and coloring of the pronotum, stout body, and elytral vestiture with bristles are quite characteristic of Gymnochilus. * Gymnochilus consocius (Blandford, 1897) Junín: Perene River (Canan Eden vill.), 1,100 m, A.
