Body cylindrical and semi-transparent. Colour light brown. Trunk 5 mm long, 1.8 mm wide. Introvert 2.5 mm long, 1 mm wide. Both ends of trunk with dark brown or black papillae. Papillae on base of introvert 25–40 µm height, 20–30 µm in diameter. Papillae on posterior end of trunk 30–55 µm in length, 17.5–40 µm in diameter. Mid-trunk with small, spare papillae; 15 μm in diameter. Introvert with scattered hooks; 35–60 µm in height (Fig. 4A). Intestinal spiral with 14 coils. Two pairs of retractors present. Nephridiopores and anus placed at same level. Pear-shaped nephridia 0.75 mm height, 0.2 mm wide. Nephridia length 15% of trunk length. Two reddish-black eye spots present.</p><p>Ecology. In the study area, this species was found on the marine angiosperm Posidonia oceanica at 22 m depth.</p><p>Distribution. Body yellow and yellowish-red in colour, with circular base and rounded point. Trunk 2.5–6.2 mm long, 1.3–1.8 mm wide. Introvert 3.8–16 mm long, 0.5–0.9 mm wide. 7–9 tentacles surrounding bilobed nuchal organ (Fig. 4 B). Distinct brown line present on oral surface of tentacle (Fig. 4 B). Papillae on posterior end of trunk 17.5–40 µm height, 10–25 µm in diameter; papillae on anterior part of trunk 17.5–27.5 µm height, 7.5–15 µm in diameter. Contractile vessel with distinct villi. Distance between posterior end of trunk and base of retractors 0.25–1 mm. Retractors originating from 10–16% of distance to end of trunk. Nephridiopores at same level to anus. Nephridia 1–1.5 mm height, 0.2–0.3 mm wide. Trunk 2.5–4.1 times nephridia length.</p><p>Ecology. In the study area, this species was found on sandy-mud, muddy-sand and Posidonia oceanica between 15– 30 m.</p><p>Distribution. Papillae on anterior part of trunk 42.5–90 µm height, 40–45 µm in diameter. Papillae on posterior part of trunk 25–60 µm height, 12.5–57.5 µm in diameter.</p><p>Distinct proteinized borders on holdfast papillae (Fig. 4 C); 72.5–120 µm height, 72.5–95 µm in diameter. Hooks on introvert (Fig. 4 D); 45–60 μm long, 20–57.5 µm thick at base. Ventral retractor muscle thinner than dorsal, attached near posterior end of trunk. Intestine in loose loops without spiral. Single nephridium located at right side of ventral nerve cord. Nephridia 0.7 mm height, 0.2 mm wide. Trunk 3.1 times nephridia length. Two black eye spots present.</p><p>Ecology. In the study area, this species was found on muddy-sand biotope at 27 m depth. Distribution. Introvert 5–10 times trunk length. 21–23 radiating keels present at posterior part of trunk. Chitinous plate with keel-like structures 20–35 μm long. Small wart-like papillae on surface of trunk; 15–25 µm long, 17.5–32.5 μm in diameter. Spindle and wing muscle absent. Anus located near mouth. Intestine with several coils. Only one retractor attached at posterior part of body. Nephridia single, elongate. Some specimens with eggs in coelom cavity, elliptical (Fig. 4 E); longer axis 117.5–167.5 μm in diameter, smaller axis 105–142.5 μm in diameter.</p><p>Ecology. This species was found on different biotopes between 8–77 m in the area.</p><p>Distribution. Trunk in largest specimen 9.6 mm long, 2.7 mm wide; that in smallest specimen 1.7 mm long, 0.7 mm wide. Anal shield weakly developed. Caudal shield not clear. Tail-like structure on posterior part of trunk 7.5 µm and 12.5 µm in diameter. Introvert at a typical angle (45–50) with main trunk axis. Unidentate hooks on distal part of introvert; 25–37.5 µm long, 20–27.5 µm thick at base. Intestinal spiral (13–26 coils) attached to the posterior part of trunk by spindle muscle (Fig. 4 F). Distance between posterior end of trunk and base of retractors 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm. Retractors originating from 15.6% and 29.4% of distance to end of trunk. Nephridiopores posterior to anus. Nephridia in largest specimen 6.2 mm height, 0.3 mm wide; those in smallest specimen 0.5 mm height, 0.13 mm wide. Trunk 1.5 and 3.4 times nephridia length.</p><p>Ecology. In the study area, this species was found on sandy-mud biotope at 73 m depth.</p><p>Distribution. Anal shield with 12–15 longitudinal grooves (Fig. 4 G). Caudal shield with 18–20 radial grooves. Finger-like spines (3–10 spines) on anal shield of 8 individuals, 70–120 µm long. Spine-like papillae scattered on introvert, 12.5–22.5 μm long. 9–12 small tentacles at end of introvert. Hooks arranged in 65–118 rings of hooks. Bidentate hooks on rings located on distal part of introvert; 15–25 µm high, 17.5–32.5 µm thick at base. Unidentate hooks scattered on proximal part of introvert; 17.5–30 µm high, 20–35 µm thick at base. Intestinal spiral with 5–24 coils. Retractor muscles attached at near posterior part of trunk. Anus and nephridiopores placed at same level. Nephridia length (largest individual) 6.3 mm; 0.4 mm wide. Trunk 2.6 times nephridia length. Two black eye spots present. Some specimens with eggs; longer axis 110–150 µm in diameter, smaller axis 80–120 µm in diameter.</p><p>Ecology. In the study area, this species was found in sandy, muddy-sand and Posidonia oceanica biotopes at 22–77 m depth. Many specimens were found within the empty shells of gastropods and tubes of the polychaete species Vermiliopsis sp.</p><p>Distribution.
