He was the dean of the Fisheries Faculty of the Sinop University (Turkey), and a team leader of the meiobenthos ecology group who significantly contributed to the study of the Black Sea.	en	Pešić, Vladimir, Durucan, Furkan, Zawal, Andrzej (2019): Marine mites (Acari: Hydrachnidia) of the Mediterranean Sea: Descriptions of two new species, key for identification and future prospects. 03FD878E1F4EF05FF19AFA3E17D22958.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Due to the complete suture line Cx-III / IV, the similar shape of the palp with P- 4 ventral margin without a projection, and in males, the area around genital field with a dense group of setae, the new species resembles Litarachna communis Walter, 1925. The latter species can be easily separated from the new species in having longer apodemes of Cx-IV (posteriorly extending beyond the level of posterior genital field margin in female, in male extending beyond the level of anterior genital field margin) with the medial apodemes longer than the lateral ones. Moreover P- 4 and P- 5 are less slender in Litarachna muratsezgini sp. nov., while P- 4 is more bowed.	en	Pešić, Vladimir, Durucan, Furkan, Zawal, Andrzej (2019): Marine mites (Acari: Hydrachnidia) of the Mediterranean Sea: Descriptions of two new species, key for identification and future prospects. 03FD878E1F42F05CF19AFBDA114C2BCD.taxon	discussion	Remarks. The presence of broad posteromedial apodemes of Cx-IV makes the new species similar to Pontarachna valkanovi, a species described by Petrova (1978) from the interstitial zone of the marine littoral (0.6 - 1.2 m depth) of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The latter species can be easily distinguished in the male having a sclerotized ring around gonopore with 5 pairs of setae arranged in a row (Petrova 1978; Pešić et al. 2013 c). From the widely distributed P. communis the new species can be separated by having broad posteromedial apodemes of Cx-IV and sclerotized ring around male gonopore with a lower number of setae.	en	Pešić, Vladimir, Durucan, Furkan, Zawal, Andrzej (2019): Marine mites (Acari: Hydrachnidia) of the Mediterranean Sea: Descriptions of two new species, key for identification and future prospects.
