This second record confirms the occurrence of this species, and its trend of northward spreading (Khatukhov et al. 2008; Soós et al. 2010; Berchi 2011; Petri et al. 2012). Furthermore, the author expects that several other records to appear.</p><p>Distribution. Several other species were collected among N. maculata, such as Nepa cinerea Linnaeus, 1758 (Nepidae), Sigara (Pseudovermicorixa) nigrolineata nigrolineata (Fieber, 1848) (Corixidae), N. glauca glauca Linnaeus, 1758 (Notonectidae), Hydrometra stagnorum (Linnaeus, 1758) (Hydrometridae), Gerris lacustris (Linnaeus, 1758), and Limnoporus rufoscutellatus (Latreille, 1807) (both Gerridae).
