Anterior margin of pronotum straight, posterior margin rounded. Metazona slightly raised or not raised at all; lateral lobe narrowing posteriorly, without humeral sinus. Femora unarmed on ventral surfaces; fore coxa with 1 short spine, fore tibia and middle tibia with spines on ventral surfaces, tympanal organ of fore tibiae open on both sides, oval; genicular lobes of hind femora with apices obtuse, hind tibiae with 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs. Male tegmina covered by pronotum or slightly surpassing posterior margin of pronotum; female tegmina ovoid, positioned laterally; hind wings absent. Posterior margin of male tenth abdominal tergite with 1 shallow concavity, subgenital plate longer than wide; styli stout, inserted on apico-lateral angles of subgenital plate. Genitalia sclerotized and exposed, not surpassing posterior margin of subgenital plate. Fastigium verticis conical, apex rounded, dorsal surface with a thin longitudinal furrow. Eyes nearly globular, projecting forwards. Apical segment of maxillary palpi slightly longer than subapical one, apex slightly swollen. Thorax. Pronotum short, anterior and posterior margins straight; lateral lobe longer than high, posterior area narrowing, without humeral sinus. Thoracic auditory spiracle open. Legs. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, genicular lobes of all femora with apices rounded. Fore coxa with 1 spine; fore tibia with 4 pairs of comparatively short ventral spines; tibial tympana open on both sides, oval. Middle tibia with 5 pairs of comparatively short ventral spines. Hind tibia with 22 – 25 internal and external dorsal spines separately, apex with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Wings. Tegmina short, terminals slightly surpassing posterior margin of pronotum, reaching middle area of first abdominal tergite; hind wings absent. Abdomen. Lateral areas of ninth abdominal tergite expanding posteriorly (Fig. 1 D, E). Tenth abdominal tergite protruding backwards, posterior margin with a wide concavity; the lobes slightly broad, inner apical angles slightly acute, slightly curved ventrally (Fig. 1 C, D). Cerci short, conical, apices rounded (Fig. 1 D, E). Genitalia sclerotized and exposed, short, apical area narrowing, apex rounded (Fig. 1 G). Subgenital plate long, obviously upcurved, with 2 lateral lobes, near basal areas expanded in inner surfaces, lamellar; lateral lobes with apices extended (Fig. 1 D, F); without styli. Female. Appearance is similar to that of male. Cerci short, conical; epiproct tongue-shaped. Subgenital plate nearly trapezoidal, posterior margin rounded. Ovipositor stout, moderately curved upwards, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, dorsal and ventral valvulae with apices acute. Coloration. Body green when alive, yellowish green when dried and pinned. Eyes brown. Disc of pronotum on lateral margins with a pair of longitudinal yellowish stripes, posterior apical areas of stripes brown.
