0384001F422CDD3D6287FF4FFEF6FA85.taxon	materials_examined	Adult habitus. General color brown to dark brown with distinct light markings. Head brownish with a large wingshaped dark brown marking located from central occiput and anterior of tentorial callosities to pale M-line; a trapezoidal dark brown median marking is located between central M-line and clypeus. Triocellate, anterior ocellus much smaller, distance between posterior ocelli nearly half of distance from eyes. Antennae brown; scape and pedicel slightly darker; palpi brownish. Pronotum nearly black with lighter rugosities and contrasting whitish lateral margins, corners obtuse and lateral margins circularly or triangularly convex. Legs uniformly brown. Wings brown but costal area pale, veins brown. Male (Figs. 1 – 3). Forewing length 11.5 – 12.0 mm. Abdomen yellowish brown, segments 1 – 8 unmodified. Tergum 10 is bearing a pair of darker knobs laterally to large triangular patches of sensilla basiconica separated by longitudinal median membranous band (Figs. 2 c – d). Paraprocts strongly curved forward, generally triangular but inner margin apparently semicircular, apex acute and outcurved (Figs. 1 c – d, 2 a, c – d). Hammer large, circular and covered by dark granules, slightly elevated toward triangular tip in lateral view, positioned over midlength of the sternum and flanked by brown posterolateral margin of sternum 9 (Figs. 1 e, 2 b). Aedeagus (Fig. 3) membranous, tubular in shape but apex enlarged and trilobed. Basal portion in ventral view with longitudinal and transverse wrinkles, a central elliptical patch of scales, and a round subapical median lobe. The lateral lobes of apex ear-like in dorsal view, subquadrate in lateral view, about ½ width of the tubular base. The single median apical lobe is nearly of the same size as lateral lobes, with many oblique wrinkles and dense microtrichia on the basoventral projection. Female (Fig. 4). Forewing length 13.0 – 13.5 mm. Abdomen yellowish brown, segments 1 – 7 unmodified. Subgenital plate wide and projecting over base of paraprocts; posterior margin deeply notched; notch wide and round between a pair of large triangular lobes (Fig. 4 b). Type material. Holotype male (NMP): China: Sichuan Province, 37 km N Baoxing, Qiao Qi vill., Jiajin Shan National Forest Park (individually from vegetation, flowering Rosa; marsh; along stream), 30 ° 41.2 ’ N 102 ° 42.3 ’ E, 2480 m, 14 – 16. VI. 2014. leg. J. Hájek, J. Růžička & M. Tkoč. Paratypes: same locality and date: 1 ♂ 1 ♀ (HIST), 1 ♀ (NMP). Etymology. The specific name refers to the elongated subgenital plate of the female. Distribution. China (central Sichuan). Affinities. The new species is most similar to H. marginalis Stark & Sivec, 2008 described from Vietnam. Both species have similar head marking (Figs. 1 a – b, 4 a) and tergum 10 of the male. Hemacroneuria elongata, however, can be distinguished by the apically outcurved male paraprocts (Figs. 1 c, 2 a, d) and in the female by the deep and wide posterolateral notch (Fig. 4 b) of the subgenital plate. The subgenital plate of H. marginalis has a small shallow posterolateral notch.	en	Li, Weihai, Mo, Raorao, Murányi, Dávid (2019): Additions to the genus Hemacroneuria Enderlein (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from China. 0384001F422CDD386287FA6AFD2BFF0C.taxon	materials_examined	Adult habitus. General color brown, with distinct lighter pattern. Head brownish with ocellar patch of similar size and shape to the above species, brownish marking on frons subquadrate (Fig. 5 b). Triocellate, anterior ocellus much smaller, distance between posterior ocelli half of distance from eyes. Antennae mostly brown except for darker scape and pedicel; palpi brownish. Pronotum brown with slightly lighter rugosities, lateral margins pale (Fig. 5 b); corners obtuse lateral margins triangularly convex. Legs mostly brown, except basal halves of femora and outer edge of tibiae pale brown, the brown portion decreasing from forelegs to hindlegs. Wing membrane brown but costal area pale, veins brown. Male. (Figs. 5 – 6). Forewing length 13.0 mm. Abdomen yellowish brown, segments 1 – 8 unmodified. Tergum 10 with a pair of posterolateral lower knobs laterally to sensilla basiconica patches, that are forming a pair of nearly touching narrow triangular bands, separated by a longitudinal median strip-like sclerite (Figs. 5 d, 6 a, c). Paraprocts recurved and generally triangular, apex slightly outcurved (Figs. 5 c, 6 a, c). Hammer small, oval-shaped and covered by indistinct granules, positioned in the medial area of sternum 9 (Fig. 6 b). Aedeagus (Figs. 6 d-e), not completely everted, flattened during eversion, with lateral view difficult to observe. Membranous, sac generally quadrate in shape, but apex enlarged and bilobed. Basal portion with many longitudinal and transverse wrinkles but scales or microtrichia lacking. The lateral lobes of apex nearly quadrate, about ½ width of the base. Two, partially fused and densely wrinkled median brownish areas present between the lateral lobes, and an elongate clavate structure extends forward, ca. 2 x as long as the lateral lobe. Female. Unknown. Type material. Holotype male (NMP): China: Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou City, Mt. West Tianmushan, “ Tree Kings ” area, mixed forest with dominant Cryptomeria, 30 ° 20.3 – 6 ’ N 119 ° 25.8 – 26.3 ’ E, 1060 – 1150 m, 26. VI – 2. VII. 2017, leg. J. Hájek & J. Růžička. Etymology. The specific name refers to the shape of the male hammer. Distribution. China (northern Zhejiang Province). Affinities. The male of the new species can be easily distinguished from congeners by the combination of less contrasting color pattern, the small and oval-shaped hammer, and lack of medial membranous area on tergum 10. Remarks. The entire body of the holotype is filled with cysts of a parasite, probably an entomoparasitic nematode (Figs. 5 a – d, 6 a – b). Similarly, but much less numerous number of cysts can be also observed in the type specimens of H. elongata (Figs. 1. b – d, 2 a, c, 4 a – b).	en	Li, Weihai, Mo, Raorao, Murányi, Dávid (2019): Additions to the genus Hemacroneuria Enderlein (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from China. 0384001F4228DD396287FB84FB04FA8E.taxon	materials_examined	Remarks. According to the original description and figures (Wu 1948: figs. 15 – 17), this species certainly belongs to Hemacroneuria. The only character that may contradict this placement is the presumed lack of an anterior ocellus, but similar intrageneric variability of presence and the lack of an anterior ocellus occur also in Sinacroneuria Yang & Yang, 1995 (Li et al. 2017). Distinctive specific characters in the male of H. spatulata are the well separated, rounded patches of sensilla basiconica on tergum 10 and the wide apices of the paraprocts.	en	Li, Weihai, Mo, Raorao, Murányi, Dávid (2019): Additions to the genus Hemacroneuria Enderlein (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from China.
