0385F51FC77B1819FF214F65FE45FE45.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific epithet is dedicated to Volker Assing (Hannover, Germany), who collected the single male. Comparative notes. Labomimus assingi sp. nov. is most similar to L. minshanus sp. nov. (described below) by sharing a similar general appearance, and the relatively small elytra. The reduced hind wings in both species indicate a poor ability of dispersal. These two species can be separated by the relatively much longer projection of the metacoxa in the male, the median lobe of the aedeagus has a more strongly curved apex in L. assingi sp. nov., as well as their distributions.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC77E181FFF2148D7FAA4FB49.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific epithet is named after Wen-I Chou (Taiwan), a Taiwanese specialist of Cerambycidae who collected all the material of the new species. Comparative notes. This new species was mentioned in a previous work (Yin 2018: 44) treating the Taiwanese Arthromelodes Jeannel, but left unnamed. Herein a formal description is given. The unique combination of the stout general body form, unmodified bot rather stout antennal clubs, dentate protibiae, and symmetric median lobe of the aedeagus is unique among the genus, leading to a quick separation from all congeners.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC77F181CFF214C97FB2AFE1D.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the stout body form of the new species. Comparative notes. The new species is similar to L. torus Yin, Li & Zhao from Qinghai and L. paratorus Yin & Li, 2012 from Shaanxi in sharing a stout habitus and an enlarged antennomere IX in the male. Labomimus corpulentus sp. nov. can be readily separated from both latter species by the small apical spine or projection of the pro- and mesotibia, and the much borderer median lobe of the aedeagus in dorso-ventral view.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC77C1813FF214E98FEE2FE61.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the dilate postgenae of the male of the new species. Comparative notes. The new species is placed as a member of the L. shibatai - group based on the laterally expanded postgenae and rounded pronotal lateral margins. Labomimus dilatatus sp. nov. is closest to L. longnan sp. nov. (described below) by sharing a similar form of the antennomeres IX – X, and the relatively small elytra. The reduced hind wings in both species indicate a poor ability of dispersal that they may confined to a small geographical area. These two species can be readily separated by the more strongly modified antennomere VIII, by the differently formed antennomere IX, and by the border subapical portion of the median lobe of the aedeagus of L. dilatatus sp. nov..	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC7731811FF2149BFFD5BFCF5.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The new species is named after the type locality, Dulongjiang County. Comparative notes. The new species appears to be similar to L. torticornis (Champion) from Assam, northeastern India in sharing a similar head form, the strongly sulcate median longitudinal impression of the pronotum, the relatively simple legs, and the elongate parameres of the aedeagus. They can be readily separated by the form of the antennomere IX, presence of a round apical projection of the protibia in the male, and broader apical portion of the median lobe of the aedeagus.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC7761815FF214F22FE2AFE61.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific name after the type locality, i. e., Jinfo Mountain. Comparative notes. Labomimus jinfomontis sp. nov. is similar to L. maoershanus Yin & Li, 2013 from Guangxi in sharing the simple antennal club. These two species can be separated by the round pronotal lateral margins, the mesotrochanter with a large, triangular ventral spine, the simple metacoxa, and the elongate aedeagus in the new species. While L. maoershanus sp. nov. has the pronotal lateral margins angularly expanded laterally, the mesotrochanter only has a small ventral tubercle, the metacoxa has a distinct ventral projection, and the aedeagus is much stouter.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC769180EFF2148D7FA17FC90.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The new species is named after the type locality, Medog County. Comparative notes. The new species seems to be close to L. mirus Yin & Li, 2012 from Guangxi, and L. cognatus Yin & Li, 2012, L. sarculus Yin & Li, 2102 and L. vespertilio Yin & Li, 2102 from Yunnan in sharing the lateral rows of golden pubescence on the head. Labomimus medogensis sp. nov. can be separated from all these congeners by the strongly asymmetric aedeagus (symmetric in all four known species), as well as its distribution.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC7611807FF21492FFBF9FE38.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific epithet is named after our friend Wu Chao, collector of the type series. Comparative notes. Labomimus wuchaoi sp. nov. is similar to L. qiujianyuae sp. nov. described above in sharing a similarly expanded antennomere IX, and a concave mesal margin of the antennomere XI. They can be best separated by the forms of the antennal modification in the male, and the aedeagus.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae). 0385F51FC7671804FF214A07FD09FB7E.taxon	etymology	Etymology. ‘ Yue (ª) ’ is abbreviated for Guangdong, where the type locality is located. Comparative notes. The new species is most similar to L. jinfomontis sp. nov. described above in sharing simple antennal clubs and largely unmodified legs. These two species can be separated by the relatively much longer metaventral processes with a curved apex, much broader apical portion of the aedeagal median lobe, and the widely divided parameres of the new species.	en	Zhang, Yu-Qing, Li, Li-Zhen, Yin, Zi-Wei (2019): Fifteen new species and a new country record of Labomimus Sharp from China, with a checklist of world species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae).
