Forewing with four apical cells and two subapical cells (r-m1 and m-cu1 present), outer apical cell largest; appendix broad, extended to third apical cell. Fore femur with very short and fine AD and PD setae; AV and PV with dense and long and fine setae on apical half, basal half with several long and fine setae. Fore tibia with AV and PV setae, long and stout setae on apical half, fine setae on base half. Hind femur with 2+1 apical macrosetae. Hind tibiae with 13–15 setae on row PD, 8 setae on row AD and 9–10 setae on row AV. Hind basitarsus with three platellae.

Pygofer dorsal margin with anterior dorsally directed lobe, caudal margin rounded. Anal tube with long acuminate process nearly reaching ventral margin of pygofer. Subgenital plate broadened distally in lateral view, with fine and dense setae on dorsal and ventral margin, as long as pygofer. Connective Y-shaped, with medial longitudinal keel. Style broad in apical half in lateral view, apex with lobe on each side, with dense setae on lateral surface subapically. Aedeagus simple, aedeagal shaft slender; dorsal apodeme developed; gonopore subapical.

Female genitalia with seventh sternite caudal margin produced, concave in middle. First valvulae broad, curved dorsally, apex pointed, with sculpture strigate on apical half. Second valvulae broad, straight, with 18–20 irregular dorsal teeth on apical half.

Distribution. Chile.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/03A087D2FFB3FB493EAAF8B224E6FE5B	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. See Agosti, D., Egloff, W., 2009. The specific epithet refers to the serrate margins of the aedeagal shaft.

Remarks. This new species is similar to C. hichinsi (Heller, 1969) in body color, but can be distinguished by the serrate aedeagal shaft that is obviously curved dorsally, and the male tergal apodemes slightly longer than the length of one segment.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/03A087D2FFB6FB493EAAFB5824DAF8A1	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
