03AEB323A6638B56FF4FFDFAE083C2FB.taxon	materials_examined	Type material. Holotype female from INDIA: West Bengal: Kolkata (= Calcutta): Bhowanipore / Bhabanipur (= Bhowanipur) (22 ° 31 ’ 59.65 ’’ N, 88 ° 20 ’ 45.37 ’’ E), 10 m alt.; B. Goswami leg.; 4 May 1974; repository NZC-ZSI, Kolkata (no register number), examined. Paratype (1 female, no register number) with same data as holotype, examined. Type material status. The ZSI collection has two glass bottles for this species. The first bottle, labelled as ‘ holotype’, contains one female specimen in fairly good condition. The same bottle has a small glass vial containing the dissected genitalia of the holotype. The second bottle labelled as ‘ paratype’ contains one female specimen in good condition, but with detached opisthosoma. Justification of transfer. Tikader and Patel (1975) described this species on the basis of two female specimens collected in West Bengal. Detailed examination of the holotype (Fig. 1 A, C – D) and the paratype (Fig. 1 B, E) shows that this species has all the diagnostic features of Tropizodium: AME largest, small intercheliceral triangle and distantly lying globular spermathecae without clearly defined copulatory ducts. Based on these observations, we propose to transfer L. bengalensis to Tropizodium.	en	Sankaran, Pradeep M., Caleb, John T. D., Sebastian, Pothalil A. 03AEB323A6638B57FF4FFB21E66BC14A.taxon	materials_examined	Type material. Holotype female from INDIA: costal Andhra Pradesh: West Godavari: Kovvur (17 ° 00 ’ 45.08 ’’ N, 81 ° 43 ’ 36.24 ’’ E), 21 m alt.; T. S. Reddy leg.; date unknown; repository NZC-ZSI, Kolkata (no register number), not examined. Allotype (1 male, no register number) with same data as holotype, not examined. Remark. We were unable to trace the types of L. kovvurensis in the arachnid collection of ZSI, even though the authors mentioned that the types are deposited in ZSI, Kolkata (Reddy & Patel 1993). Other material examined. INDIA, Kerala: Ernakulam, Malayattoor, (10 ° 11 ’ 43.76 ’’ N, 76 ° 29 ’ 48.45 ’’ E), 27 m alt., 23 January 2014, M. S. Pradeep leg., from ground, by hand: 3 females (ADSH 112763). Justification of transfer. Reddy and Patel (1993) described this species on the basis of one female and one male specimens collected in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Although we could not examine the types of L. kovvurensis, the original illustrations of the female habitus and female genitalia of this species are diagnosable and show diagnostic features of Tropizodium. The first and most important diagnostic character refers to the vulva of L. kovvurensis, which is represented by distantly lying spermathecae without clearly defined copulatory ducts (Reddy & Patel 1993 fig. 1 c – d). Such vulva is a characteristic feature of Tropizodium species (Jocqué & Churchill 2005). Features such as AME largest and epigyne posteriorly with a small central depression of L. kovvurensis (Reddy & Patel 1993 fig. 1 a, c – d) are also congruent with the diagnostic features of Tropizodium species (Jocqué & Churchill 2005). All these characters clearly indicate that Reddy and Patel (1993) misplaced this species under Lutica. Based on these observations, we propose to transfer L. kovvurensis to Tropizodium. Redescription. Female in alcohol (Fig. 2 A). Carapace, clypeus, chelicerae, fangs brownish. Carapace with black patches and streaks. Eye field, opisthosoma black. Endites, labium, sternum, leg and palpal segments pale brownish. Opisthosoma hirsute, elongate triangular, with thin postero-lateral corrugations (Fig. 2 A). Spinnerets straw coloured. Leg formula: 4123. Genitalia (Fig. 2 B – C): epigyne hardly sclerotized; posteriorly with a central, nearly triangular depression (Fig. 2 C). Copulatory openings situated postero-laterally, behind the fertilization ducts. Spermathecae ovoid (Fig. 2 C). Fertilization ducts narrow, lying parallel to each other (Fig. 2 C).	en	Sankaran, Pradeep M., Caleb, John T. D., Sebastian, Pothalil A. 03AEB323A6628B50FF4FF884E712C4C4.taxon	materials_examined	Type material status. The ZSI collection has three glass bottles for this species. The first bottle, labelled as ‘ holotype’, contains one female specimen in good condition. The same bottle has a small glass vial containing the dissected genitalia of the holotype. The second bottle labelled as ‘ paratype’, contains, instead of six females, five female specimens and one juvenile in good condition. The third bottle, labelled as ‘ allotype’, contains four highly bleached males. Justification of transfer. Tikader (1981) described this species on the basis of six females, four males and a juvenile specimen collected in Maharashtra. Detailed examination of the holotype (Fig. 3 A, C – D) and the paratype (Fig. 3 E) suggests that this species has all the diagnostic features of Tropizodium: AME largest, small intercheliceral triangle, epigyne posteriorly with central depression and distantly lying globular spermathecae lacking clearly defined copulatory ducts. Based on these observations, we propose to transfer L. poonaensis to Tropizodium.	en	Sankaran, Pradeep M., Caleb, John T. D., Sebastian, Pothalil A. 03AEB323A6648B52FF4FFEF6E650C7B4.taxon	materials_examined	Type material. Holotype female from INDIA: Maharashtra: Pune (= Poona): Gokhale Nagar: Vetal Hill (18 ° 31 ’ 31.76 ’’ N, 73 ° 48 ’ 55.38 ’’ E), 705 m alt.; M. S. Malhotra leg.; 21 July 1974; repository NZC-ZSI, Kolkata (no register number), examined. Allotype (1 male, no register number) with same data as holotype, examined. Type material status. The ZSI collection has three glass bottles for this species. The first bottle, labelled as ‘ holotype’, contains one female specimen with broken legs. The second bottle, labelled as ‘ allotype’, contains one highly bleached male. The third bottle, labelled as ‘ internal genitalia of L. deccanensis ’, contains the dissected genitalia of the holotype. Justification of transfer. Tikader and Malhotra (1976) described this species based on one female and one male specimens collected in Maharashtra. Detailed examination of the holotype (Fig. 4 A, C – D) and the allotype (Fig. 4 B, E) indicates that this species deviates from the diagnostic features of Tropizodium species. The shape of the female prosoma (Fig. 4 A), shape and orientation of the embolus (Fig. 4 E), shape of the epigyne (Fig. 4 C) and shape and orientation of the vulva (Fig. 4 D) show close similarity with the species of Zodarion Walckenaer, 1826. Based on these observations, we propose to transfer L. deccanensis to Zodarion.	en	Sankaran, Pradeep M., Caleb, John T. D., Sebastian, Pothalil A.
