03B38799FFB2FF9CFF695AE6CA904F9F.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Agrilus graminis Kiesenwetter, 1857 is the West Palaearctic species with an extensive range (Jendek 2016 a) and extensive spectrum of host plants (Jendek & Polakova 2014). Diverse abiotic and biotic conditions induce noticeable variability in the size, the color, and extent of elytral pubescence of this species. Despite the variability, the new subspecies Agrilus graminis persicus ssp. nov. is very distinctive and from the nominal subspecies differs in the larger size (4.7 – 7.2 mm versus 6.8 – 8.5 mm), in the stout body, in the light silky green color (similar to that in A. albogularis Gory, 1841), and mainly in the entire pubescence of elytra.	en	Jendek, Eduard, Nakládal, Oto (2019): Nine new Agrilus (Coleoptera: Buprestidae, Agrilini) from Palaearctic and Oriental regions. It can be distinguished by the silky-green or blue color, by the sinuate lateral pronotal margin, by the prehumerus extending to the half of pronotal length (lateral view), by the long and sparse medial strip of pubescence in male extending from prosternal lobe to basal ventrite (in A. pecirkai, the pubescence is denser and extends from prosternal lobe to metasternal projection), and by the shape of prehumerus (Fig. 2 H).	en	Jendek, Eduard, Nakládal, Oto (2019): Nine new Agrilus (Coleoptera: Buprestidae, Agrilini) from Palaearctic and Oriental regions.
