This species is replaced east of Baikal Lake by Anthonomus latior Pic, 1902. The records of Anthonomus pedicularis from Bolshekhekhtsirsky Nature Reserve (Kabarovsk Krai) (Legalov & Dubatolov 2021) and Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve (Primorsky Krai) (Legalov & Sergeev 2022) belong to A. latior.
