Middle sized species with slender, densely punctate mesosoma, and green-golden-blue colouration of body. Sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum developed only in anterior part in form of anterolateral angles, absent in posterior half. Tegula dark-violet, metallic. T1 and T2 dark blue dorsally, golden-green laterally. T3 with sharp apical teeth, pits distinct, of variable size. S2 spots joining to form quadrilateral mark; mark longer than wide.</p><p>Description. Female. Holotype. Body length 6.0 mm (Fig. 1).</p><p>Head. Scapal basin concave, moderately deep, punctate, in upper part with small polished area. Brow prominent; TFC single, only laterally with traces of second carina, slightly outcurved, its length about 2/3 of brow: area below TFC polished, turning into elongated punctures toward scapal basin (Fig. 2). Brow above TFC flattened, with dense punctures. BOL 1.9 × MOD. Relative length of P:F1:F2:F3=1.0:1.3:0.8:0.7; F1 l/w=2.6; OOL 1.6 × MOD; POL 1.7 × MOD; MS 1.3 × MOD; clypeus slightly incised medially, rather flattened in lateral view. Mandible without subapical tooth. Malar space with large, polished punctures, their diameter 0.7–1.0 × MOD, genal carina reaching up to 2/3 of height of head; carina branching at margin of compound eye. Setae on vertex whitish, longer than MOD. Ocellar triangle obtuse, densely punctured (Fig. 3).</p><p>Mesosoma. Median pronotal line shallow, not reaching posterior margin of pronotum; sublateral carina incom-plete, anterior part as anterolateral angle, faint in posterior half. Punctation on pronotum, mesoscutum and mesoscutellum dense, interspaces narrow 0.1–0.4 × PD, shining and micropunctate. Interspaces on mesonotum partly blackish. Mesepisternum with large punctures, interspaces narrow, mostly 0.1–0.3 × PD. Episternal sulcus and especially scrobal sulcus with large areolate punctures, about 2.0 × as large as punctures on mesepisternum (Fig. 1). Setae on outer edge of metatibia as long as their distal width.</p><p>Metasoma. Metasoma punctate; punctures smaller than on mesosoma. Interspaces 0.8–1.2 × PD, polished, with only scattered tiny punctures. T1 and T2 dark blue dorsally, golden-green laterally. T1 with short median groove anteriorly, T2 with weak median carina, reaching apical edge (Fig. 4). T3 prepit bulge slightly convex (Fig. 1); pit row distinct, pits separated, of variable size; post pit row area flat and punctate (Fig. 6). Apex of T3 with three sharp teeth; median tooth distinctly curved downwards, with polished median carina. Interval between median tooth and lateral tooth circularly incurved (Fig. 6). S2 black spots fused medially, forming quadrilateral mark, with small golden triangular area anteriorly; mark longer than wide (Fig. 5).</p><p>Colouration. Body metallic blue and green with some golden parts, mostly ventrally. Green on face, some parts of pronotum, sides of mesosoma, lateral parts of terga as well as T2 and T3 apically; blue colour on vertex, anterior part of pronotum, central part of mesoscutum (here small black spot anteriorly), mesoscutellum, and metanotum medially; pleuron green with some golden colour, dorsal part of metasoma mostly blue, with green sides; T3 blue anteriorly, becoming golden-green dorsally, with two well defined blue spots in distal part, separated from pit row by green area (Fig. 6). Pit row with bluish hint, pits light brown, anal teeth green. Sterna golden green, with blue reflections. Ocellar triangle with black interspaces. Scape and pedicel metallic bluish-green; F1 basally with metallic shimmer, greenish to blue, blackish distally; rest of flagellum black. Legs bright green, prolegs little golden; all tarsi brown. Some black colour around ocelli and on mesonotum. Tegula dark violet/purple, metallic. Wings dimmed.</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Distribution. North-eastern Vietnam (Tuyen Quang Province).</p><p>Remarks. Trichrysis aliciae sp. nov. is similar to T. coeruleamaculata Rosa, Wei &amp; Xu, 2016 but is easy to distinguish by following characters: mesosoma dorsally with dense punctuation, interspaces 0.1–0.4 × PD (versus 0.2 –1.0 × PD in T. coeruleamaculata), pits on T3 of variable size, from small to large, post-pit area punctate (versus large pits, post-pit area with sparse punctures in T. coeruleamaculata), T2 and T3 golden-green laterally (versus blue in T. coeruleamaculata). T. aliciae sp. nov. may be distinguished from T. kylan sp. nov. described below by following characters: black mark on S2 longer than wide (versus 1.2 × wider than long in T. kylan sp. nov.), F1 only basally with metallic shimmer, blackish distally (versus F1 fully metallic green in T. kylan sp. nov.), OOL 1.6 × MOD; POL 1.7 × MOD; MS 1.3 × MOD (versus OOL 2.0 × MOD; POL 2.3 × MOD; MS 1.6 × MOD in T. kylan sp. nov.).</p><p>Etymology. Middle sized species with robust, densely punctate body and mostly golden-green colouration with some blue colour dorsally (Fig. 7). Sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum fully developed (Fig. 10). Tegula predominantly metallic, blue-green, outer margin partly brown. T1 and T2 bright blue dorsally, golden-green laterally and apically. T3 apically with sharp median tooth (Fig. 11); pits fused into pair of elongated holes on both sides of median keel on T3 (Fig. 12).</p><p>Description. Female. Holotype. Body length 7.0 mm. Paratype, body length 6.7 mm.</p><p>Head. Scapal basin deep and punctate, in middle part punctures partly fused forming transverse striae (Fig. 8). Brow prominent, TFC single, slightly inverted V-shaped, recurved laterally. Brow raised between TFC and scapal basin, flattened, polished medially, with elongated shallow punctures. Brow above TFC flattened, with dense punctures. BOL 1.7 × MOD. Relative length of P:F1:F2:F3=1.0:2.0:1.0:0.9; F1 l/w=3.0; OOL 1.4 × MOD; POL 1.5 × MOD; MS 1.2 × MOD; clypeal apex incised medially. Mandible without subapical tooth. Malar space with few small punctures, and with genal carina reaching up to 2/3 of head height. Setae on vertex yellowish, not longer than MOD. Ocellar triangle obtuse, densely punctured (Fig. 9).</p><p>Mesosoma. Median pronotal line moderately deep, not extending to posterior margin of pronotum. Sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum fully developed (Fig. 10). Punctation on pronotum, mesoscutum and mesoscutellum with variable interspaces between punctures, 0.2–1.0 × PD; interspaces shining and punctate. Mesepisternum with large punctures, interspaces narrow, 0.1–0.6 × PD. Episternal sulcus and especially scrobal sulcus with large areolate punctures, about 2.0 × as large as punctures on mesepisternum (Fig. 10). Setae on outer edge of metatibia short, not longer than the half their distal width.</p><p>Metasoma. Metasoma densely punctate; punctures smaller than on mesosoma. Interspaces on T1 and T2 0.6–1.2 × PD, polished, with only scattered tiny punctures. T1 with short median groove anteriorly, T2 with distinct median carina, reaching apex of T2 (Fig. 7). T3 punctate and wrinkled (Fig. 12); prepit bulge slightly convex (Fig. 11); pits fused into pair of elongated holes on both sides of median keel (Fig. 12). Median tooth on apex of T3 sharp and pointed, lateral teeth shorter (Fig. 12). Interval between median tooth and lateral tooth broadly incurved. All sterna in both holotype and paratype are partly destroyed ventrally, and black spots cannot be therefore described .</p><p>Colouration. Body metallic golden green, with blue reflections on pronotum and laterally on mesosoma. T2 dorsally blue, laterally, and apically golden green. Small blue spots medially on pronotum, mesoscutum and mesoscutellum. Ocellar triangle with greenish interspaces. Scape, pedicel and only base of F1 metallic green, rest of flagellum black. Tegula predominantly metallic, blue-green, outer margin partly brown. Wings slightly dimmed. Legs metallic bright green, basitarsi greenish, rest of tarsi blackish.</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Distribution. North-eastern Vietnam (Tuyen Quang Province).</p><p>Remarks. Trichrysis chamchuensis sp. nov. is similar to T. pellucida (du Buysson, 1887) and T. yuani Rosa, Feng &amp; Xu, 2016 but is easy distinguishable by unique shape of pits of the pit row fused into pair of elongated holes on both sides of median keel on T3 (versus at most partly separated pits in both T. pellucida and T. yuani), T3 with sharp median tooth (versus blunt in T. yuani), pedicel and F1 basally greenish (versus black in T. pellucida), and mostly golden-green body colour (versus usually dark blue in T. pellucida and light blue in T. yuani).</p><p>Etymology. Middle sized species with slender body, and striking colouration of metasoma, with golden, green, blue, and purple colours (Figs 16, 18). Sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum developed only on anterior part as anterolateral angle, faint in the middle and posterior half. Tegula dark-purple, metallic. T1 and T2 dark golden green, with large blue spots submedially and laterally. T3 golden green, dark blue anteriorly and with two large submedian spots (Fig. 18). Pits large, apical rim wrinkled; apical teeth short, middle one pointed and downcurved, lateral teeth angulate. S2 spots subtriangular, fused to form quadrilateral mark, with small golden triangular area anteriorly; mark about 1.2 × wider than long (a ‘manta’ shape) (Fig. 17).</p><p>Description. Female. Holotype. Body length 6.5 mm.</p><p>Head. Scapal basin deep and punctate, in central and lower part punctures shallower and interspaces wider, shining. Brow slight, TFC single, slightly inverted V-shaped, the area below with elongated punctures, with polished, shining interspaces (Fig. 14). Brow above TFC slightly concave, with dense punctures (Figs 13, 15). Relative length of P:F1:F2:F3=1.0:1.3:0.9:0.7; F1 l/w=2.4; OOL 2.0 × MOD; BOL 1.7 × MOD; POL 2.3 × MOD; MS 1.6 × MOD; clypeus almost truncated. Mandible without subapical tooth. Malar space with large punctures, and with genal carina reaching up to 2/3 of height of head, the carina branching at margin of compound eye. Setae on vertex whitish, longer than 1.0 × MOD. Ocellar triangle obtuse, densely punctured and punctures with black interspaces (Fig.15).</p><p>Mesosoma. Median pronotal line absent. Sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum developed only in anterior part as anterolateral angle (Fig. 15), faint in middle and posterior half. Tegula dark-purple, metallic. Mesepisternum with large punctures, interspaces narrow, mostly 0.1–0.5 × PD. Episternal sulcus narrow, with punctures about as large as on mesepisternum; scrobal sulcus with large areolate punctures, about 2.0 × as large as punctures on mesepisternum (Fig. 13). Wings only slightly brownish. Setae on outer edge of metatibia as long as their distal width.</p><p>Metasoma. Metasoma densely punctate; interspaces 0.3–0.7 × PD, polished, only with scattered tiny punctures. T1 with short median groove anteriorly, T2 without median carina. Pits large, apical rim wrinkled; apical teeth short, middle tooth pointed and downcurved, lateral teeth angulate. S2 spots subtriangular, forming quadrilateral mark, with small golden triangular area anteriorly; mark about 1.2 × wider than long (Fig. 17).</p><p>Colouration. Body mostly golden green and blue with some purple. Head and mesosoma mainly golden and green, with blue hints (Figs 13, 15). Scape, pedicel and F1 golden green, rest of flagellum black. Some black colour around ocelli, on mesonotum and mesoscutum. Blue colour is on anterior part of pronotum, and metanotum medially. Pleuron golden green with some blue shimmer. T1 and T2 dark golden green, with large blue and purple spots submedially and laterally. T3 golden green, dark blue anteriorly and with two large submedian blue purple spots fused anterolaterally with anterior dark blue band (Fig. 18). Sterna and legs golden green, all tarsi brownish.</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Distribution. North-eastern Vietnam (Tuyen Quang Province).</p><p>Remarks. Trichrysis kylan sp. nov. is similar to T. coeruleamaculata Rosa, Wei &amp; Xu, 2016 but is easy to distinguish by following characters: median pronotal line absent, mesosoma dorsally with dense punctuation, interspaces 0.1–0.6 × PD (versus median pronotal line deep, interspaces 0.2–1.0 × PD in T. coeruleamaculata), T1 and T2 golden green laterally (versus blue in T. coeruleamaculata), dark blue submedian spots on T3 fused anterolaterally with anterior dark blue band (versus round spots on T3 not fused with anterior dark blue band in T. coeru-leamaculata). The specific name is a masculine noun in apposition and refers to a mythological creature known as ‘Ky Lan’ (in Vietnamese), which is extremely popular in stories and images in the region. Middle sized species with robust, densely punctate body and very distinctive set of morphological features: mandible with subapical tooth (Fig. 22), malar space long, 2.2 × MOD (Fig. 20), black spot on S2 nearly cordiform (Fig. 23), T3 prepit bulge very distinct in lateral view (Fig. 25). Sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum developed only in anterior half, absent posteriorly. Tegula purple-violet, metallic. T1 and T2 green dorsally, golden-green laterally. T1 with distinct median groove anteriorly; T2 and T3 with distinct median carina. Pits large; apex of T3 with three long and sharp teeth (Fig. 26); median tooth distinctly curved downwards.</p><p>Description. Female. Holotype. Body length 7.1 mm.</p><p>Head. Brow prominent, TFC short, single, and almost straight, with polished margin (Fig. 20). Frons slightly raised between TFC and scapal basin. Scapal basin concave, moderately deep, striate medially and punctate laterally, with white pubescence. Brow above TFC flattened, with dense punctures. BOL 1.6 × MOD. Clypeus incised medially, with black margin, in lateral view conical. Mandible with subapical tooth, bidentate (Fig. 22). Malar space 2.2 × MOD, base of mandible with pit, genal carina reaching up to 3/4 of height of head. Relative length of P:F1: F2:F3=1.0:1.4:0.8:0.7: F1 l/w=2.7; OOL 1.5 × MOD; POL 2.0 × MOD. Erect setae on vertex yellowish, some of them longer than MOD. Ocellar triangle obtuse, densely punctured and punctures with greenish interspaces, 0.2–1.0 × PD (Fig. 21).</p><p>Mesosoma. Median pronotal line short and shallow; sublateral, longitudinal carina on pronotum developed only in anterior half, absent posteriorly. Tegula purple-violet, metallic. Punctuation dense, consisting of punctures of variable size; interspaces between puncture shining and punctate, 0.2–1.0 × PD. Mesepisternum with large punc-tures, interspaces wrinkled 0.1–0.6 × PD. Episternal sulcus with large elongate punctures, scrobal sulcus with large areolate punctures, about 2.0 × as large as punctures on mesepisternum (Fig. 24). Setae on outer edge of metatibia short, not longer than ½ × their distal width.</p><p>Metasoma. Metasoma with dense punctures and shining interspaces; T1 with median anterior groove well de-veloped. T2 with distinct, polished median carina; T3 medially with transverse depression, interrupted by median carina (Fig. 26), prepit bulge very distinct in lateral view (Fig. 25) sloping toward pit row. Pits large, clearly separated, their margins with blue shimmer. Apical teeth long, median tooth pointed and downcurved, with longitudinal carina, lateral teeth flattened, rounded apically (Figs 25–26). Interval between median tooth and lateral teeth deeply incurved (Fig. 26). Black spots on S2 subtriangular, fused medially, elongated longitudinally, anteriorly with golden triangular incision, almost cordiform (Fig. 23).</p><p>Colouration. Scapal basin golden, scapus, pedicel, F1 green, F2 distinctly green, rest of flagellum black. Body metallic golden green. Some parts on body with blue hints: notauli, pronotum anteriorly, pleura, pits. Tegula purpleviolet, metallic. Wings slightly amber. T1 and T2 green dorsally, golden-green laterally. T3 golden green except blue purple transversal depression. Sternites and legs golden green; tarsi dark brown.</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Distribution. Central Highlands of Vietnam (Gia Lai Province).</p><p>Remarks. Trichrysis raymundi sp. nov. is very characteristic and easy to distinguish from other species of Trichrysis in the region after following features: mandibles with subapical tooth, bidentate, malar space long, 2.2 × MOD, nearly cordiform black spot on S2, very distinct prepit bulge on T3, T2 and T3 with distinct median carina, and apex of T3 with three long and sharp teeth.</p><p>Etymology.
