This species arrived in Seychelles probably some years before 2003. The hypothesis put forward by CARPANETO et al. (2010: 177), according to which the species may arrived in flotsam deposited by the December 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami is therefore not borne out. In the vicinity of Victoria on Mahé often lands near artificial lighting at night, especially after rain.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/035CBC6DFFA8FFF280EDFE18FC35FC84	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
