Pileus 12 – 22 mm, convex to plano-convex, with the umbonate disc; at young stage veil covered the whole pileus, at mature stage restricted to the disc in the form of one or more large squamules dull reddish brown (7.5 R 5 / 3), on a dull yellow-orange (10 YR 7 / 4) background; margins incurved with appendiculate velar remnants. Lamellae free, dull orange (7.5 YR 7 / 4) to light yellow (7.5 YR 8 / 3), with a fimbriate edge, sub-distant with 0 – 1 tier of lamellulae. Stipe 17 – 23 × 1 – 2 mm, central, terete to flexuous, surface squamulose, squamules dull yellow-orange (10 YR 7 / 4), central, rough surface, context hollow, at the base with grayish rhizomorphic mycelial mat. Annulus fibrillose, with scars and velar remnants. Basidiospores [50 / 2 / 2] (4.8 –) 5.1 – 5.9 (– 8.1) × (3.9 –) 4.1 – 5.5 (– 5.8) µm, av. L × av. W = 5.5 × 4.9 µm, Q = 1.0 – 1.16, Q av = 1.08, globose to subglobose, pinkish to reddish, with light green guttule and hilar appendage in water, inamyloid in Melzer’s Reagent, thick-walled. Basidia (15.9 –) 16.0 – 19.3 (– 18.6) × (6.6 –) 6.9 – 8.5 (– 9.6) µm, clavate to broadly clavate, hyaline olivaceous in 5 % KOH, thick-walled, clamp connections absent, 4 spored, with greenish oil pigments in 5 % KOH. Cheilocystidia (12.9 –) 15.9 – 21.1 (– 21.2) × (4.5 –) 5.6 – 8.9 (– 10.2) µm, narrowly utriform to utriform, hyaline olivaceous in 5 % KOH, thin-walled, Pleurocystidia absent. Caulocystidia (14.3 –) 15.4 – 25.6 (– 31.1) × (5.9 –) 6.2 – 11 (– 12.1) µm, clavate to broadly clavate, hyaline to the olivaceous and olivaceous gray wall in 5 % KOH, thick-walled, nonguttulate. Pileus 29 – 31 mm diam, light gray (10 YR 8 / 2) at the margin, reddish brown (10 YR 8 / 3 )) at the center, convex to plane at a mature stage, straight, dry, squamosa dull reddish brown (2.5 YR 5 / 3) regular, soft, regular thickness. Lamellae dull reddish brown (2.5 YR 5 / 3) free, narrow, average, entire, sub distance, unequal, 0 – 2 lamellulae. Stipe 30 – 36 × 2 – 3 mm light yellow (7.5 YR 8 / 4), central, carved, equal, rough surface with scabrous, Volva and Annulus absent Odor and Taste not recorded. Basidiospores [50 / 2 / 2] (5.1 –) 5.3 – 6.4 (– 6.5) × (3.3 –) 3.4 – 3.9 (– 4.0) µm, avl × avw = 5.7 × 3.5 µm, Q = 1.3 – 1.8 µm, Q av = 1.6 µm, ellipsoid to oblong, pinkish to reddish with light green guttules, inamyloid, thick-walled, smooth.
