Temple shiny and almost impunctate, strongly constricted. Face very shiny, polished without pubescence, inner margin of eyes weakly subparallel, 0.8 × as high as wide. Ocelli relatively large, distance between fore and a hind ocellus smaller than diameter of an ocellus, posterior imaginary tangent to fore ocellus transecting hind two ocelli, POL: OD: OOL = 4.0: 2.3: 4.0. Antenna distinctly longer than body, penultimate antennomere 1.8 × longer than wide. Mesosoma. Length: breadth: height = 52.5: 30.0: 35.5. Disc of mesonotum shiny, shallowly punctate, interspaces much larger than diameter of punctures. Scutellar sulcus nearly straight, a little wide with eight carinae in between. Scutellum shiny, polished with indistinct small punctures. Propodeum relatively dull, with long setose small punctures anterior-laterally, deeply concave with obsolescent punctures medially, posteral-lateral polished field with few rugae. Mesopleuron highly polished, with shallow setose punctures anteriorly. Legs. Hind femur 3.5 × longer than wide. Spines on outer side of hind tibia relatively sparse. Inner spur of hind tibia nearly half length of hind basitarsus, outer spur distinctly shorter (2 / 5). Basitarsus of hind leg weakly shorter than tarsomeres 2 – 4 combined (20.0: 22.0). Wings. Pterostigma 2.7 × as long as its widest part. Vein 1 - R 1 (metacarp) 1.2 × longer than pterostigma, 5.2 × as long as its distance from the apex of the marginal cell. Vein r arising from apex of pterostigma, almost as long as width of pterostigma, vein r 1.7 × longer than vein 2 - SR, distinctly angled at their meeting, vein 2 - M 5 / 6 length of vein 2 - SR. 1 st discal cell nearly 1.3 × wider than high. 1 st submarginal cell of hind wing 2 × wider than high. Vein cu-a curved. Metasoma. Distinctly shorter than thorax (42.5: 52.5). T 1 parallel-sided, 1.5 × longer than wide posteriorly, concave at basal two fifth, turned-over part relatively dull, with numerous longitudinal rugosity and medial polished trough. T 2 shiny, mostly polished, abruptly curved into T 3, transverse, 3.0 × wider than long in the middle. T 3 almost as long as T 2. Tergites after T 2 shiny, polished, pubescent. Hypopygium not shorter than apex of abdomen. Ovipositor sheath nearly as long as hind tibia, narrow and parallel-sided. Colour. Body black. Tegula black. Spurs pale yellow. Palpi pale yellow. Antenna and ovipositor sheath evenly dark brown. Labrum and distal mandible light reddish yellow, basal mandible dark red. Fore leg, mid tibia, mid tarsus, distal fourth of mid femur, mid trochanter, hind trochanter and basal half of hind tibia bright yellow, the rest parts dark to black. Face transverse, nearly 0.8 × as high as wide, dull with small punctures, pubescent, inner margin of eyes subparallel. Ocelli on low triangle, the posterior tangent to the anterior ocellus slightly cutting the posterior pair, distance between fore and a hind ocellus not shorter than diameter of an ocellus, POL: OD: OOL = 4.2: 2.8: 4.2. Antenna as long as body, penultimate antennomere cubic to subcubic. Mesosoma. Length: breadth: height = 49.0: 30.5: 32.5. Disc of mesonotum shiny with shallow punctures, interspaces equal with diameter of punctures. Scutellar sulcus nearly straight, relatively narrow with carinae in between. Scutellum polished, smooth with indistinct punctuation. Propodeum dull, with long setose punctures on brow, strongly strigose above orifice, polished medially, posterior-lateral field polished, hind corners distinctly raised, relatively short. Mesopleuron polished, with indistinct shallow punctures anteriorly. Legs. Spines on outer side of hind tibia sparse. Inner spur of hind tibia 2 / 5 length of basitarsus, outer one slightly shorter. Basitarsus of hind leg a little longer than tarsomeres 2 – 4 combined. Wings. Pterostigma 2.5 × as long as its widest part. Vein 1 - R 1 (metacarp) as long as pterostigma, 4.3 × as long as its distance from the apex of the marginal cell. Vein r arising from middle of pterostigma, shorter than width of pterostigma, vein r a little longer than vein 2 - SR, distinctly angled at their meeting, vein 2 - M half length of vein 2 - SR. 1 st discal cell 1.2 × wider than high. 1 st submarginal cell of hind wing 2 × wider than high. T 1 parallel-sided, 1.3 × longer than wide posteriorly, basal one third indistinctly concave, turned-over part punctate-rugulose, tubercle polished. T 2 evenly curved into T 3, 3 × wider than long in the middle, slightly uneven medially, subrugulose anteriorly and laterally. T 3 1.2 × as long as T 2, tergites posterior to T 2 polished, shiny and less pubescent. Ovipositor sheath 3 / 4 length of hind tibia, thin. Colour. Body black. Tegula yellow. Palpi and spurs pale yellow. Antenna from base to apex yellow to yellowish brown. Rather transverse in dorsal view, 2.1 × as wide as long and nearly as wide as mesoscutum. Temple shiny and impunctate, rather constricted. Face relatively shiny, with shallow punctures, sparsely pubescent, inner margin of eyes subparallel, transverse, 0.7 × as high as wide. Ocelli relatively large, distance between fore and a hind ocellus smaller than diameter of an ocellus, posterior imaginary tangent to fore ocellus virtually transecting hind two ocelli, POL: OD: OOL = 5.0: 2.8: 4.2. Antenna distinctly shorter than body, penultimate antennomere 1.6 × longer than wide. Mesosoma. Length: breadth: height = 46.5: 32.0: 36.0. Disc of mesonotum relatively shiny, with much silvery pubescence, finely punctate, interspaces not larger than diameter of punctures. Scutellar sulcus straight, deep, narrow but only with one carina in between. Scutellum shiny, with shallow punctures. Propodeum shiny, with setose punctures anterior-laterally, base of areola U-shaped, a few carinae inside U-shaped and on posteral-lateral field. Mesopleuron highly polished, with shallow setose punctures anteriorly. Legs. Hind femur stout, 2.8 × longer than wide. Spines on outer side of hind tibia sparse. Spurs of hind tibia of equal size, over half length of hind basitarsus. Basitarsus of hind leg weakly shorter than tarsomeres 2 – 4 combined (12.0: 15.0). Wings. Pterostigma 3.4 × as long as its widest part. Vein 1 - R 1 (metacarp) 1.2 × longer than pterostigma, 5.1 × as long as its distance from the apex of the marginal cell. Vein r arising from apex of pterostigma, nearly as long as width of pterostigma, vein r shorter than vein 2 - SR, indistinctly angled at their meeting, vein 2 - M 2 / 5 length of vein 2 - SR. 1 st discal cell almost as wide as high. 1 st submarginal cell of hind wing 2 × wider than high. Vein cu-a strongly curved. Metasoma. Distinctly longer than thorax (60.0: 46.5). T 1 broad (weakly widen apically), wide of hind 1.4 × longer than length, concave at basal third, turned-over with shallow punctures, weakly rugulose along middle and hind. T 2 weakly uneven, nearly straight apically, 3.3 × wider than long in the middle. T 3 1.4 × longer than T 2. Tergites after T 1 shiny, polished, pubescent. Hypopygium shorter than apex of abdomen. Ovipositor sheath 4 / 5 length of hind tibia, fusiform, expanded after anterior fifth, then gradually narrowing towards apex. Colour. Body black. Tegula black. Spurs pale yellow. Palpi most dirty yellowish brown, darker basally. Antennae and ovipositor sheath evenly dark brown. Labrum and mandible dark red. Hind leg dark red to black, fore and middle legs plus anterior half of hind tibia bright yellow (except fore and mid coxae). Wing membrane hyaline, vein 1 - R 1, r, 2 - SR, 2 - M and pterostigma brown, other veins pale brown, pterostigma with pale basal spot. Male. Similar to female, except: antenna much longer, penultimate antennomere 2.3 × longer than wide; T 1 slightly longer; T 1 indistinctly constricted behind; and T 2 much longer. Variation.
