432DF027992E4C57FF790B24FD10FA40.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis: Within Endotrichini, the genus Endotricha is most closely similar to Oenogenes Meyrick, 1884 (type species: Botys fugalis C. Felder, R. Felder & Rogenhofer, 1875, by monotypy), but is distinct by the presence of a sclerotised gnathos and gnathos arms, which are absent in Oenogenes (Whalley 1963). In the male genitalia of Endotricha, the saccular process is always present, and may be free or fused with the valva. The uncus is either slightly bulbous at the apex or modified into a ‘ T’ - shaped apex. In the female genitalia, at least one signum is always present (except in E. puncticostalis Walker).	en	Ranjan, Rahul, Singh, Navneet, Kirti, Jagbir Singh (2023): On the taxonomy of genus Endotricha Zeller (Pyralinae, Pyralidae, Lepidoptera) with description of three new species from India. 432DF027992E4C56FF790F49FDA3FF4B.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis: Externally, E. fuscobasalis and E. melanobasis are closely similar species, differences are discussed under E. melanobasis. Based on the male genitalia capsule and specifically the T-shaped uncus, E. fuscobasalis (Fig. 17) is closely related to the externally distinct E. costaemaculalis Christoph, 1881 (Figs 3, 19), but is differentiated by the apical portion of juxta having two well-formed patches of comparatively larger and robust spines, and the saccular process broader, almost straight and slightly broadened subapically, and ending to a small spiniform process, whereas in E. costaemaculalis, apex of juxta uniformly covered with minute spines and saccular process is narrower, slightly wavy and gradually narrowing towards an acute apex.	en	Ranjan, Rahul, Singh, Navneet, Kirti, Jagbir Singh (2023): On the taxonomy of genus Endotricha Zeller (Pyralinae, Pyralidae, Lepidoptera) with description of three new species from India. In male genitalia, juxta of E. eximia (Fig. 20) is distinct from that of E. costaemaculalis (Fig. 19) in the absence of apical spines and vesica of E. eximia with a cornutus as a thin line of spines, which is spiniform in E. costaemaculalis. In female genitalia of E. eximia (Fig. 30), ductus bursae is uniformly sclerotised whereas in E. costaemaculalis (Fig. 29), ductus bursae is weakly sclerotised centrally.	en	Ranjan, Rahul, Singh, Navneet, Kirti, Jagbir Singh (2023): On the taxonomy of genus Endotricha Zeller (Pyralinae, Pyralidae, Lepidoptera) with description of three new species from India. 432DF02799264C5EFF790B83FE9CFE6B.taxon	distribution	Distribution: India (Mizoram) (present study), Russia (Kirpichnikova 2003). Taxonomic note: Endotricha valentis was described as a closely similar species of E. olivacealis (Bremer, 1864). But in the original publication, Kirpichnikova (2003) did not provide the images of adults of E. valentis and E. olivacealis, and the genitalia of E. olivacealis illustrated by Kirpichnikova (2003: 4, figs 1 – 2) is clearly distinct from the genitalia published by Whalley (1963) (pl. 19: fig. 191). Furthermore, the original description and illustrations of E. olivacealis (Bremer 1864: 66, plate 6, fig. 2) also seems to be distinct from that of Whalley’s (1963). Herein, we investigate that the genital illustration of E. valentis (Kirpichnikova 2003: 4, figs 4 – 5) is closely similar to the genital illustration of E. olivacealis provided by Whalley (1963, pl. 19, fig. 191) and thus, E. olivacealis sensu Whalley (1963) is most likely to be conspecific of E. valentis.	en	Ranjan, Rahul, Singh, Navneet, Kirti, Jagbir Singh (2023): On the taxonomy of genus Endotricha Zeller (Pyralinae, Pyralidae, Lepidoptera) with description of three new species from India. 432DF02799264C5EFF790B83FE9CFE6B.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis: Endotricha albicilia belongs to the denticostalis species-group (sensu Whalley 1963) and, due to conspicuously rectangular valva, is closely similar to E. denticostalis Hampson, 1906 (Whalley 1963: 436; imago: Pl. 8, figs 112, 115; male genitalia: Pl. 23, fig. 216, female genitalia: Pl. 35, fig. 300), but is distinct by the male genitalia with valva bearing reflexed costal piliform setae, costal apex less produced and smaller saccular process. In female genitalia, E. albicilia (Fig. 32) is distinct from E. denticostalis by the longer ductus bursae and shorter corpus bursae.	en	Ranjan, Rahul, Singh, Navneet, Kirti, Jagbir Singh (2023): On the taxonomy of genus Endotricha Zeller (Pyralinae, Pyralidae, Lepidoptera) with description of three new species from India. 432DF02799274C59FF790F1FFDCBFC3B.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis: Morphologically, Endotricha lii sp. nov. is most closely similar to E. convexa Li in Sun & Li, 2012: 35 (Figs 4, 12, 17) and E. lobibasalis Hampson, 1906 (Whalley 1963: 442; imago: Pl. 10, fig. 141; male genitalia: Pl. 25, fig. 229). The three species are distinct from all the other congeners by the convex forewing costa. Among these three species, E. lobibasalis is distinct from E. convexa and E. lii sp. nov. by its forewing costa conspicuously curved upwardly towards apex. Further, E. lii sp. nov. is distinct from E. convexa by the absence of conspicuous black oval patch at the base of the forewing, the subcostal yellowish olive patch is broader at apex and the submarginal line is comparatively duller. In male genitalia, E. lii sp. nov. is distinct from E. convexa by the uncus smoothly tapering to subapical region, socii are directed upward and the gnathos is rectangular (whereas in E. convexa uncus is medially convex with the apical lateral folds narrower, socii not upward directed and the gnathos almost oval).	en	Ranjan, Rahul, Singh, Navneet, Kirti, Jagbir Singh (2023): On the taxonomy of genus Endotricha Zeller (Pyralinae, Pyralidae, Lepidoptera) with description of three new species from India.
