4267AD78C878FF8EE2A0F8EEBADF7C92.taxon	description	is a dragonfly species which remains under strict species protection in Poland (Ustawa z Dnia 16 kwietnia 2004 r. o Ochronie Przyrody). The larvae inhabit clean lowland watercourses which are characterised by slow currents and sandy or sandy-stony bottoms (Burkart & Suhling 2021).	en	Słomczyński, Kamil, Tończyk, Grzegorz, Płóciennik, Mateusz (2023): New insight into the macroinvertebrates of the Rawka River Nature Reserve (central Poland). 4267AD78C879FF8FE291FE6CBC3779D3.taxon	description	(Cambaridae) is native to the east coast of North America (Holdich 2001) and was introduced to Europe in 1890. F. limosus displaces native crayfish species because of its resistance to adverse environmental conditions and diseases − it is a carrier of crayfish plague. The rate of spread of this species is rapid and its further expansion in Polish waters should be expected. F. limosus inhabits every type of water body and is reported in almost whole Poland.	en	Słomczyński, Kamil, Tończyk, Grzegorz, Płóciennik, Mateusz (2023): New insight into the macroinvertebrates of the Rawka River Nature Reserve (central Poland). 4267AD78C879FF8FE2A0FE06BD0B7A98.taxon	description	is a true bug species which has an important ecological value as it controls the mosquito abundance by feeding on their larvae. The species inhabits vegetated margins in watercourses with slow currents, ditches and ponds (Wróblewski 1980).	en	Słomczyński, Kamil, Tończyk, Grzegorz, Płóciennik, Mateusz (2023): New insight into the macroinvertebrates of the Rawka River Nature Reserve (central Poland). 4267AD78C879FF8FE2A0FF51BD077AE1.taxon	description	is a Chironomidae species which is widely distributed species in Europe with a characteristic mentum shape, but rarely recorded in Poland. It was reported in eastern Poland by Tarkowska-Kukuryk & Kornijów (2008) in Lake Kleszczów and Tarkowska-Kukuryk (2014) in Lake Skomielno. The record of M. rydalensis in Rawka River is the first such case in central Poland. The species prefers littoral and sublittoral sediments of still water, but sporadically inhabits sediments or submerged mosses in running water (Andersen et al. 2013).	en	Słomczyński, Kamil, Tończyk, Grzegorz, Płóciennik, Mateusz (2023): New insight into the macroinvertebrates of the Rawka River Nature Reserve (central Poland).
