453784047269FFC4BEC0FD6F46BAFD78.taxon	diagnosis	Differential diagnosis. This species differs from the European S. fuscipes in the trifid tip of phallus (Grichanov 2001: Fig. 1) in contrast to simple helical tip of phallus in S. fuscipes (Drake 2021, Fig. 1 b). Syntormon drakei, sp. nov. male has simple fore tarsus (Fig. 2) that precludes him from being European S. monilis (Haliday, 1851) or S. submonilis Negrobov, 1975. Basal ventral branch on male hind basitarsus has species-specific setation in both S. drakei, sp. nov. (Figs. 3 – 4) and European species listed here (Drake 2021: Figs. 7 k – 7 m). For further details of morphology, see description of S. fuscipes (nec von Roser) by Grichanov (2001).	en	Grichanov, Igor Ya. 453784047269FFC4BEC0FD6F46BAFD78.taxon	distribution	Distribution. Type locality: Kenya, Mt. Kenya, Sirimon, Higher Moorland. Afrotropical:? Burundi, Kenya. Notes. The material was labeled as “ Syntormon fuscipes, det. Grichanov ”. The additional material was returned back to the host museums. Grichanov (2001) noted that the male collected from Burundi belongs to a different phenotype. It may represent another undescribed species. Syntormon fuscipes is excluded here from the Afrotropical fauna.	en	Grichanov, Igor Ya.
