8D03512DAF2E57262BB4F80FFA48FB0E.taxon	etymology	Etymology: The specific epithet refers to Farallones de Cali, the area where the collection locality is found. Farallones de Cali is located on the eastern slopes of the Western Andean Cordillera of Colombia (Fig. 3).	en	Ascuntar-Osnas, Oscar (2018): A new species and new records of the genus Oideterus Thomson, 1857 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Prioninae: Anacolini) from Colombia. 8D03512DAF2E57262BB4F80FFA48FB0E.taxon	discussion	Remarks: Oideterus farallonensis sp. nov. is included on the alternative “ l ” of the key by Galileo & Santos-Silva (2015): “ Elytra proportionally short, not covering the fourth abdominal segment, strongly dehiscent along the suture just below the scutellum ” with O. elegans and O. lobicollis. This species differs by the moderately dehiscent elytra and rounded apices. In O. elegans and O. lobicollis, the elytra are strongly dehiscent with acuminate apices. The shape of the prosternal process (narrowed at base, widened at apex), is similar to O. magnificus; O. farallonensis sp. nov. has shorter elytra (reaching only the posterior margin of ventrite IV), whereas in O. magnificus the elytra reach the abdominal apex.	en	Ascuntar-Osnas, Oscar (2018): A new species and new records of the genus Oideterus Thomson, 1857 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Prioninae: Anacolini) from Colombia. 8D03512DAF2C57272BB4FA8EFEB6F87A.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis: This species differs from congeners by the following combination of characters, according to Galileo (1987): Sides of pronotum subparallel at margins before spine, in the other species, they are oblique; and by elytra with lateral margins narrowed apically from about middle. Metatarsomere I about as long as V (Fig. 2 C).	en	Ascuntar-Osnas, Oscar (2018): A new species and new records of the genus Oideterus Thomson, 1857 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Prioninae: Anacolini) from Colombia. 8D03512DAF2C57272BB4FA8EFEB6F87A.taxon	discussion	Remarks: Oideterus andrarius is only known from Colombia, mainly associated with the Andean region, in an altitudinal range between 1730 and 2300 m (Fig. 3). The species is recorded for the first time for Caldas, Huila and Quindío Departments. New records come from protected areas and habitats in restoration process. One of the localities (Bremen forest, Quindío), has been in restoration process for 13 years (Herrera-Rangel et al. 2015). Another new record originated at the Merenberg farm (Huila), which is currently a private natural reserve (with almost 300 ha of extension) with 150 ha of secondary forests and 150 ha of pastures (Carvajal 2014). Geographic distribution: Colombia (Antioquia, Caldas *, Huila *, Quindío *, Risaralda, and Valle del Cauca). * New locality. 8D03512DAF2A57212BB4F887FF24FF45.taxon	discussion	Remarks: Two females were collected in the Andean region of Colombia. These specimens share characteristics with O. dichotomus (species only registered for Ecuador) such as the color pattern and / or prosternum shape; however, they have slight differences on the thorax shape, length and shape of the apex of the elytra with O. dichotomus and each other (Fig. 2 D – E). Study of additional specimens and paratypes female of O. dichotomus may allow us to identify this material.	en	Ascuntar-Osnas, Oscar (2018): A new species and new records of the genus Oideterus Thomson, 1857 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Prioninae: Anacolini) from Colombia.
