9F32326AFF94FF8BB198F863FF7FFA9C.taxon	etymology	Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the similarity with members of Cheilolejeunea sect. Cyrtolejeunea (Evans 1903: 533) Ye, Gradstein & Zhu in Ye et al. (2015: 324).	en	Bastos, Cid José Passos, Schäfer-Verwimp, A. (2017): Three new species of Cheilolejeunea (Spruce) Steph. 9F32326AFF94FF8BB198F863FF7FFA9C.taxon	distribution	Distribution and ecology: The new species seems to be restricted to the South and Southeast Brazil. Unlike other recently described species for Brazil, which were from Bahia (C. lacerata Bastos et Gradstein (2006: 133), C. ornata Bastos (2011: 86 )), Minas Gerais (C. laciniata Peralta & Reiner-Drehwald (2013: 54 )), and Amazonas (C. amazonica Bastos & Zartman (2016: 15 )), this is the first species described from Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina. Cheilolejeunea cyrtolejeuneoides is growing on humid shady rocks which may be sometimes irrigated, in low woody vegetation along a stream (holotype) and on shady rocky slope at roadside (13499) between 1100 and 1850 m. a. s. l. In the holotype collection several plants of Neurolejeunea breutelii (Gottsche in Gottsche et al. 1845: 324) Evans (1907: 13) are admixed beside a few plants of a small Plagiochila and a single young plant of Rhodobryum. The plants of the paratype collection are growing on and between Riccardia regnelli (Ångström 1876: 90) Hell (1969: 110) and a species of cyanobacteria (cf. Schizothrix); a few plants of Harpalejeunea subacuta Evans (1903: 547) (c. per.) could also be found.	en	Bastos, Cid José Passos, Schäfer-Verwimp, A. 9F32326AFF92FF8CB198FDE2FB60F902.taxon	distribution	Distribution and ecology: This species is known only from the type locality. The summit region of the mountain was covered with shrubs and low trees with no conspicuous epiphyte vegetation but with several small pioneers of Lejeuneaceae as for example Cheilolejeunea xanthocarpa (Lehm. & Lindenb. in Lehmann 1833: 8) Malombe (2009: 326), Drepanolejeunea biocellata Evans (1903: 22), Drepanolejeunea bidens (Prantl 1890: xiv) Evans (1903: 29), Diplasiolejeunea grolleana Reyes (1982: 175), D. unidentata (Lehm. & Lindenb. in Lehmann 1834: 48) Schiffner (1897: 583), and Cololejeunea microscopica var. africana (Pócs 1984: 247) Pócs & Bernecker in Dauphin et al. (2008: 234). The floor was partly covered with Leucobryum giganteum Müller (1849: 79). In the type collection some plants of Lejeunea flava (Swartz 1788: 144) Nees (1838: 277) and scraps of Lejeunea paucidentata (Stephani 1896: 76) Grolle (1991: 191) and L. bermudiana (Evans 1906: 132) Schuster (1980 a: 1105) have been seen.	en	Bastos, Cid José Passos, Schäfer-Verwimp, A.
