AC608784FFF71B6525E10D7AABB58C0E.taxon	discussion	Comment. Gorbiscape is a relatively small genus with a disjunct distribution, comprising two species in Central Asia — G. gorbachevi Zamani & Marusik, 2020 from Tajikistan; G. zarafshanicus Fomichev & Shodmonov, 2024 from Uzbekistan — and five species in the Western Mediterranean: G. agelenoides (Walckenaer, 1841) from Northwest Africa and Southwest Europe; G. amazighus Zamani & Marusik sp. nov. from Morocco; G. canariensis (Lucas, 1838) comb. nov. from the Canary Islands and Northwest Africa; and G. gomerensis (Wunderlich, 1992) comb. nov., G. gonzalezi (Schmidt, 1980) comb. nov. and G. tenerifensis (Wunderlich, 1992) comb. nov. from the Canary Islands (Zamani & Marusik 2020; Fomichev & Shodmonov 2024; current study). The four species newly transferred to Gorbiscape were all formerly placed in Agelena Walckenaer, 1805 and share a similar conformation of the male copulatory organs with that of the type species of Gorbiscape, namely a similar embolus and tegular apophysis, as well as the presence of patellar and tibial apophyses (see Wunderlich 1992). The epigynes of the species herein transferred to Gorbiscape exhibit different conformations. It is possible that A. atlantea Fage, 1938, currently known only from females and only from Morocco, also belongs to Gorbiscape; however, the collection of conspecific males is necessary to confirm this.	en	Zamani, Alireza, Marusik, Yuri M. AC608784FFF71B6725E10BDEAD4A8D58.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The male of the new species is most similar to G. agelenoides in having large patellar and tibial apophyses and a similar tegular apophysis, but it differs by having a sharply pointed patellar apophysis (vs. rounded), a long basal outgrowth of the tegular apophysis (Ob) (vs. absent), a relatively thinner bulb, a cymbial tip longer than the bulb’s width (vs. shorter), and an embolus directed anteriorly (vs. antero-retrolaterally) (cf. Figs 3 A – C, 4 A – C, 5 A – C and de Blauwe 1980: figs 3 – 5). Females of the two species also differ clearly: in the new species, the fovea is wider than long and lacks both a septum and a median plate, whereas in G. agelenoides, the fovea is longer than wide and bears a distinct septum and median plate (cf. Fig. 3 D and de Blauwe 1980: fig. 6). The epigyne of the new species is similar to that of G. gorbachevi, but it differs by having a small posterior extension and lacking a scapelike structure (vs. extension absent and a small scape present) (cf. Fig. 3 D and Zamani & Marusik 2020: fig. 14 A).	en	Zamani, Alireza, Marusik, Yuri M. AC608784FFFD1B6825E10814AD4A8BC1.taxon	discussion	Comment. Illustrations of the epigyne of L. majus provided by Barrientos et al. (2019: fig. 2 b) and Bosselaers (2024: fig. 6 L) differ considerably and may in fact represent different species. Liocranum majus was originally described from a juvenile specimen, and the species currently treated as its junior synonyms — L. segmentatum Simon, 1878 and L. pallidulum Simon, 1878 — lack published figures of the epigyne. Habitat. Semi-arid rocky mountain with sparse vegetation (Fig. 14 A).	en	Zamani, Alireza, Marusik, Yuri M.
