Habitus as in Fig. 3. Body brownish, with distinctly paler lateral and basal portions of pronotum, elytra and paratergites of abdomen; mouthparts, antennae and legs yellow-brown. Body glossy; forebody without microsculpture, except for area between ocelli and neck with dense isodiametric microreticulation; abdominal tergites with dense transverse microsculpture. Punctation of head irregular and sparse, finer and sparser in middle; neck without punctures; pronotum with regular and dense punctation, slightly larger and deeper than that on head, finer and sparser in mediobasal half, mediobasal third without punctures; scutellum with several fine punctures; abdominal tergites with dense and fine punctation. Pubescence of forebody yellow, dense and moderately long, semi-erect, longer on frontal part of head; abdomen with dense decumbent pubescence, slightly shorter and finer than that on forebody. Head 1.4 – 1.5 times as broad as long, slightly convex, more elevated between anterior margins of eyes and on infraorbital portions; anteriomedian depression deep and wide, subtriangular, narrowed and extended basad to level of anterior margins of eyes, sometimes connected with subrectangular, large and moderately deep interocellar depression; interocellar depression separated from infraorbital portions by distinctly convergent latero-anteriad narrow and relatively deep anteocellar foveae (grooves in front of ocelli), each reaching level of apical third of eye; temples about three times shorter than longitudinal length of eyes, gradually narrowed toward neck. Eyes moderately large and convex. Ocelli moderately large, distance between ocelli 1.6 – 1.7 times as long distance between ocellus and posterior margin of eye. Maxillary palpomere 3 about as long as preceding segment, significantly broadened apicad; apical palpomere distinctly shorter and narrower than preceding segment, from about middle gradually narrowed toward subacute apex. Antenna reaching apical third of elytra when reclined; basal antennomere robust, about three times as long as broad, antennomere 2 distinctly narrower and 1.5 times as long as basal antennomere, 3 distinctly longer and slightly narrower than 2, 4 – 5 slightly broader than 3, 6 slightly longer and broader than 5, 7 – 9 slightly longer than 6, 10 distinctly shorter than 9, apical antennomere 1.3 – 1.5 times as long as 10, from apical third gradually narrowed toward rounded apex. Pronotum slightly convex, 1.2 times as broad as long, from widest anterior third strongly narrowed basad toward subacute hind angles, with elongate, subparallel latero-basal portions; anterior margin straight, sometimes slightly concave in middle, distinctly shorter than straight posterior margin; middle portion without depressions, but one paratype with fine transverse impression slightly above posterior margin (holotype with two indistinct longitudinal impressions in mediobasal part); lateral margins slightly and narrowly impressed. Elytra convex, slightly broader than long, distinctly broadened posteriad, 1.8 – 1.9 times as long as pronotum; lateral margins narrowly flattened and slightly reflexed in latero-apical portions; hind margins straight or rounded. Hind wings fully developed. Metatarsi more than twice as long as metatibia. Abdomen slightly narrower or broader than elytra, with two large and transverse tomentose spots in middle of abdominal tergite IV and narrow palisade fringe on apical margin of abdominal tergite VII. Male. Protarsomeres 1 – 4 significantly broadened. Posterior margins of abdominal tergite VIII and sternite VIII slightly sinuate. Aedeagus with broadened basal and median parts, with rounded apex of median lobe; parameres narrow, slightly broadened apically, short and not reaching apex of median lobe, each with four short apical setae; internal sac wide and moderately long, weakly sclerotized, without fields of spines, with narrow short flagellum in basal part (Fig. 4). Lateral aspect of the aedeagus as in Fig. 5. Female. Protarsomeres 1 – 4 narrow. Posterior margins of abdominal tergite VIII and sternite VIII truncate. Comparative notes. Based on the shape and the coloration of the body, and the morphology of the aedeagus with the presence of short narrow flagellum and weakly sclerotized internal sac, G. turnai sp. n. belongs to the convexicollis group, six species of them are distributed in Central Asia and the Himalayan Region (Shavrin 2022 a). The new species can be distinguished from them by the less convex forebody, the shape of the pronotum with elongate latero-basal portions, significantly narrower parameres and broader apical part of the median lobe.	en	Shavrin, Alexey V. Habitus as in Fig. 12. Body dark-brown (lateral and apical portions of holotype paler); each elytron with moderately small and elongate yellow spot in front of middle; antennae and legs yellow-brown (apical part of each femur slighty darker, apical part of each tibia distinctly paler; antennomeres 1 – 2 in paratypes slightly paler); mouthparts and tarsi yellow. Forebody without microsculpture except for neck with fine and dense transverse meshes; abdominal tergites with dense isodiametric microreticulation, indistinct on tergites VI – VIII. Punctation of head regular, dense and moderately large, finer and sparser in frontal part; neck with dense and large punctation; punctation of pronotum dense, similar to that of head, finer and sparser in mediobasal third (paratypes); abdominal tergites with dense and fine punctation, markedly finer and sparser on tergites VI – VIII. Head 1.4 – 1.5 times as broad as long, with slightly elevated middle and infraorbital portions; middle part separated from lateral portions by deep and relatively wide longitudinal depressions; temples more than twice as long as longitudinal length of eyes, gradually rounded toward neck. Eyes large and convex. Ocelli large; distance between ocelli about as long as distance between ocellus and posterior margin of eye. Antennae reaching apical third of elytra when reclined, with elongate antennomeres; basal antennomere more than three times as long as broad, antennomere 2 distinctly shorter and slightly narrower than basal antennomere, 3 indistinctly narrower than 2, 4 slightly shorter than 3, 5 – 8 slightly shorter than 4, 9 – 10 slightly shorter and broader than 8, apical antennomere 1.7 times as long as 10, from preapical third strongly narrowed toward acute apex. Pronotum 1.1 – 1.3 times as broad as long, slightly narrower than head, from widest anterior third sharply narrowed toward elongate, subparallel latero-basal margins; dorsal surface without impressions. Elytra slightly broader than long, distinctly more than twice as long as pronotum, slightly broadened posteriad; hind margins rounded. Hind wings fully developed. Abdomen about as broad as elytra or slightly narrower; abdominal tergites IV and V with transverse tomentose spots, distinctly larger on tergite IV. Male. Lateral aspect of aedeagus as in Fig. 7. Female. Apical margin of abdominal tergite VIII somewhat straight or rounded. Apical margin of abdominal sternite VIII rounded. Comparative notes. Based on the presence of yellowish spots on elytra and the general shape of the aedeagus, L. (s. str.) spergata sp. n. is similar to L. (s. str.) fikaceki Shavrin, 2013, originally described from Jiangxi (Shavrin 2013) and also known from Hunan (Cheng et al. 2019), and to L. (s. str.) elongata Cheng, Li & Peng, 2019, known from Zhejiang (Cheng et al. 2019). From L. (s. str.) fikaceki it can be distinguished by the significantly shorter parameres with distinctly narrower apical portions. From L. (s. str.) elongata it can be distinguished by the paler legs, smaller spots on the elytra, slightly broader apical part of the pronotum, and broader apical part of the median lobe. From both species it differs by the paler coloration of the body, the lack of discal impressions on the pronotum, and details of the morphology of the aedeagus.	en	Shavrin, Alexey V. B1597B20FF94FFB6FF73FABFFD3EFF1C.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Trichodromeus penicillatus is a more widely distributed species of the genus in Middle Asia (Shavrin 2024 a). Some specimens of T. penicillatus have distinct sexual dimorphism in the shape of the head and the pronotum. I did not consider it in my previous study (Shavrin 2024 a). Some specimens from Fan Mts. (see above) have markedly broader postocular portions of head in males and narrower portions in females, and the pronotum is more convex and broader in males and somewhat flattened and shorter in females (see Figs 16 – 17). The aedeagus of these specimens is similar to that illustrated in Figs 56, 58 in Shavrin (2024 a), but the apical part of the median lobe is slightly narrower and longer.	en	Shavrin, Alexey V.
