Holotype: ♂, E. Kazakhstan, Tarbagatai distr., Zhagalbaily Mts., 7 km NE Kyzylkezek vill., Bugaz riv. Valley, 700 m, 47°55’N ; 82°04’E, 23.vii.2011, R.V. Yakovlev leg. (ZISP); paratypes: 2 ♀, same data as holotype (RYB, MWM).</p><p>Description. Male. Length of fore wing 16 mm. Thorax dark grey. Tegula and patagium grey. Antenna simple, not pectinate. Fore wing rather wide, dark grey, unicolorous, with reticulated pattern of thin undulated lines throughout wing, apex rounded. Hind wing dark grey, without pattern. Fringe grey, unicolorous.</p><p>Male genitalia. Uncus short, subtriangular; gnathos arms of medium length, thick; gnathos medium-sized, covered with fine spikes. Valva long, narrow, subapically sharply tapered, finger-like process in middle third of costal edge; transtilla process short, with very thick base and uncinately tapered apex. Juxta small, saddle-like, with two lateral processes of medium length with parallel edges. Saccus small, semicircular. Phallus a little shorter than valva, slightly curved in proximal third, vesica aperture in dorso-apical position, length ½ of phallus, vesica without cornuti.</p><p>Female. Length of fore wing 21 mm. Fore wing grey with fine line drawing of black strokes and thin undulated bands in discal and postdiscal areas. Hind wing grey with blackish scales along vein lines.</p><p>Diagnosis. The new species differs from the similar species, D. arenicola (Staudinger, 1879) (Figs 9 ¯12) by the following features:</p><p>- the fore wing pattern of thin undulated bands on dark grey background throughout the wing; D. arenicola has blurred brown spots in discal area;</p><p>- distal ¼ of the valva is sharply narrowing; in D. arenicola, it is of even width; - long finger-like process on the costal edge of the valva; in D. arenicola, process is shorter.</p><p>Etymology. Holotype: ♂, Kyrgyzstan, Fergana-Tal, Osch, 1200 m, 16.vii.1996 (GenPr MWMW: 25.259; MWM) ; paratypes: 3 ♂, 1 ♀, same data as holotype (MWM).</p><p>Description. Length of fore wing 19 mm. Thorax and tegula pale brown. Tegula and patagium pale brown. Antenna simple, not pectinate. Fore wing rather wide, apex rounded, pale brown with sparsely scattered brown scales, small black strokes on costal edge, very thin and barely visible longitudinal strokes in postdiscal area between radial and medial veins, two blurred longitudinal brown strokes in discal area between veins CuA2, CuP and A1+2. Hind wing fuscous, without pattern, with thin pale bordering on outer edge. Fringe on both wings dark at veins, pale between veins.</p><p>Male genitalia. Uncus triangular and elongate; gnathos arms long, thin; gnathos ribbon-like, covered with fine spikes; valva gradually narrowing to apex, lanceolate, costal edge with small trapezoidal crest with even edges, weakly expressed rib (from costal edge to middle of valva width) on inner surface of valva; transtilla process with thick base, gradually narrowing to distal third, distal third drawn, uncinately curved, apex pointed; juxta tiny, with small lateral processes; saccus medium sized, semicircular; phallus a little shorter than valva, strongly curved in proximal and distal third; apex spoon-like, vesica aperture in dorso-apical position, length ¼ of phallus, vesica without cornuti vesica without cornuti.</p><p>Female. Length of fore wing 24 mm, wing pattern is similar to that of male.</p><p>Female genitalia. Papillae anales conical, with transverse ribs. Posterior apophyses one quarter longer than anterior ones. Ostium cup-like, poorly submerged. Ductus lomg, narrow. Bursa without signa, membranous, sacklike. Ductus seminalis falls into proximal part of bursa.</p><p>Diagnosis. In general habitus, the new species is the most similar to D. campicola (Eversmann, 1854) and D. murinus (Rothschild, 1912), but differs from both as follows:</p><p>- from D. campicola and D. murinus by the trapezoidal process on the costal edge of the valva; in D. campicola, the process on the costal edge of the valva is semicircular, the elongated distal edge of the transtilla process.In D. campicola, the transtilla process is gradually narrowing from base to apex), the phallus is strongly curved in proximal and distal thirds; in D. campicola, the phallus is slightly curved in median third.</p><p>- from D. murinus, in addition to the genitalic characters, D. kamelini differs by the pale brown fore wing; in D. murinus, the fore wing is grey.</p><p>Etymology. The new species is named after Prof. Rudolph W. Fore wing rather narrow, with elongate apex, grey scattered with brown scales and pattern of black strokes, dark short transverse strokes on costal edge, long lengthwise strokes in postdiscal area between veins; strokes extended in direction from costal edge to hind, small black spots in marginal area near veins. Hind wing grey without pattern, fine pale bordering on outer edge. Fringe on both wings dark near veins, pale between veins.</p><p>Male genitalia. Uncus narrow, triangular, apex pointed. Gnathos arms long, of medium thickness; gnathos medially ribbon-like, with fine spikes. Valva rather narrow with expressed wide semicircular crest on costal edge, distal third slightly narrowed, apex semicircular, blunt; transtilla process short, thick, uncinately curved, tapered with very thick base and pointed apex. Juxta tiny, with small lateral processes; saccus very small, semicircular; phallus equal to valva in length, slightly curved in proximal third, apex of phallus obliquely cut, tapered, vesica aperture in dorso-apical position, equal to ¼ of phallus, vesica without cornuti.</p><p>Female unknown.</p><p>Diagnosis. Externally, the new species is similar to a group of species with long black strokes between veins in postdiscal area of the fore wing The group consists of D. beketi (Yakovlev, 2004), D. churkini Yakovlev, 2006, D. lukhtanovi Yakovlev, 2006 and D. pulverulentus (Püngeler, 1898) but differs from those by the following features:</p><p>- From D. beketi, D. churkini, D. lukhtanovi by the larger size and more expressed pattern of strokes in postdiscal area of the fore wing.</p><p>- From D. beketi by the pale grey lower surface of the wings (in D. beketi it is coal-black) and the absence of the expressed rib on the inner surface of the valva; (in D. beketi it is expressed.</p><p>- From D. churkini— by the well expressed semicircular crest on the costal edge of the valva (in D. churkini the costal edge of the valva has no crest), the phallus slightly curved in its proximal ½ (in D. churkini the phallus is strongly curved in the proximal ¼);</p><p>- From D. lukhtanovi— by the well expressed semicircular crest on the costal edge of the valva (in D. lukhtanovi there is a finger-like process on the costal edge of the valva) and the phallus, slightly curved in its proximal ¼; (in D. lukhtanovi the phallus is straight).</p><p>- From D. pulverulentus by the dark colouring of the wings; in D. pulverulentus the wings are paler, the semicircular process on the costal edge of the valva (in D. pulverulentus the process is finger-like), the transtilla process is evenly narrowing to the apex; in D. pulverulentus the apices are tapered and strongly elongated in distal third).</p><p>Etymology. The new species is named after Viktor A. Hind wing grey with thin reticulated pattern of very thin black undulated lines. Fringe on both wings dark at veins, pale between veins.</p><p>Female unknown.</p><p>Diagnosis. The subspecies differs from the nominal taxon, distributed in northeastern China, Korea and southeastern Russia, possibly by a smaller size (length of male fore wing of the nominal taxon 21¯ 26 mm), paler colouring, finer undulated pattern on the fore wing, less developed dark area on the costal edge of the fore wing. Etymology.
