The male genitalia of E. gwangneungensis are very similar to those of E. prolongata and E. dentate but the valva is very wide and the ampulla is relatively thick. Moreover, the male genitalia differ by very short saccus, cornuti is absent from the phallus, and transtilla is more slender and similar in shape to a sewing needle.
