Liu, sp. nov. 1 (Figs. 2, 3)</p><p>MycoBank No.:—845537</p><p>Diagnosis:—This species is characterized by a green-blue pileus, decurrent lamellae, presence of white rhizomorphs, digitate cheilocystidia and hyphae of pileipellis an ixocutis. It differs from the most similar species M. cyanorrhiza by its decurrent lamellae and the presence of rhizomorphs.</p><p>Etymology:—refers to the green-blue colors of pileus.</p><p>Type:— CHINA. Hunan Province, <a href="https://tb.plazi.org/GgServer/search?materialsCitation.longitude=110.255554&amp;materialsCitation.latitude=28.813334" title="Search Plazi for locations around (long 110.255554/lat 28.813334)">Xiangxi Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture</a>, Yongshun County, <a href="https://tb.plazi.org/GgServer/search?materialsCitation.longitude=110.255554&amp;materialsCitation.latitude=28.813334" title="Search Plazi for locations around (long 110.255554/lat 28.813334)">Xiaoxi National Nature Reserve</a>, 28°48′48″N, 110°15′20″E, elev. 531m, 20 April 2022, Lina Liu, HUIF 50234 (Holotype!) .</p><p>Description:— Pileus 3–8 mm diam, hemispheric to convex, becoming plano-convex to applanate, pale greenblue to dark green (25C3–25E6), sometimes with slightly depressed center, green-blue to dark green (25D3–25F6), silky when dry, slightly glutinous when wet, margins slightly crenulate, white to pale green-blue (25A1–25B3). Lamellae subdecurrent to deeply decurrent, subdistant (L=12–18, I=1–3), white (1A1), margins smooth, concolorous with faces. Stipe 1.9–5.2 cm, cylindrical, silky, glabrous or with many strigose hairs attaching to substratum, white to pale green-blue (25A1–25C4) towards apex, pale green-blue to green-blue-grey (25B3–25E4) towards base. Context thin. Rhizomorphs (criniform-like stipes) moderately abundant, filiform, not capitate, whitish (25A1). Smell and taste indistinctive.</p><p>Basidiospores 7.0–8.4 × 3.1–4.9 μm, Q=1.7–1.9, narrowly ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, amyloid, thin-walled. Basidia 19–24 × 5–7 μm, short clavate, mostly 2-spored. Basidioles clavate. Lamellar edge sterile. Cheilocystidia 13–27 × 3–7 μm, clavate or cylindrical, sometimes irregular, with more than 4 cylindrical or clavate branches at apex, 2–7 × 1–2 μm, hyaline, colorless, inamyloid, thin-walled. Pleurocystidia absent. Pileus and lamellar trama composed of interwoven hyphae 2–10 mm diam, cylindrical or inflated at septa, hyaline, colorless, dextrinoid, thin-walled. Pileipellis an ixocutis of 1–5 μm wide, cylindrical hyphae, terminal cells cylindrical, sometimes with 2 to 4 irregular branches. Hyphae of the stipitipellis 2–7 μm diam, cylindrical, smooth, hyaline, colorless, inamyloid, thin-walled. Caulocystidia 12–27 × 2–6 μm, cylindrical, slightly clavate or irregular, often with septa, sometimes with 2 to 3 branches at apex, cylindrical or irregular, hyaline, colorless. Clamp connections present.</p><p>Habitat:—gregarious on leaves and twigs in broad-leaved forests mainly composed of Castanopsis eyrei (Champ.) Liu, sp. nov. 2 (Figs. 4, 5)</p><p>MycoBank No.:—845538</p><p>Diagnosis:—This species is characterized by a pink conical pileus, horizontal to decurrent lamellae, stipe tapering downwards, presence of brown rhizomorphs, hyphae of cheilocystidia with excrescences, hyphae of pileipellis and stipitipellis with excrescences. It differs from the most similar species M. tubarioides by the horizontal to decurrent lamellae, tapering stipe, and presence of brown rhizomorphs.</p><p>Etymology:—refers to the lovely basidiomata which look like flowers.</p><p>Type:— CHINA. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Baise City, Leye County, Yachang Orchid National Nature Reserve, 24°46ˊ28”N, 106°20ˊ08”, elev. 1075 m, 30 June 2021, Lina Liu, HUIF 50128 (Holotype!) .</p><p>Description:— Pileus 1–3 mm diam, conical with flat top to obtusely conical, sometimes expanding with age, sometimes with slightly depressed center, sulcate, translucent-striate, glabrous, pink (9A2–9A3), pale pinkish purple to russet-red (9A4–9C5) with pale russet-red to russet-red striae (9B4–9C6), sometimes with slightly depressed center, margins slightly crenulate, pale pink to white (9A3–9A1). Lamellae horizontal to decurrent, subdistant (L=10–16, I=1–2), broader than the length, margin even, pink to pale pinkish purple (9A3–9A2), margins smooth, concolorous with faces. Stipe 2–9 mm, cylindrical, but tapering downwards, glabrous, pink or pale pinkish purple (9A3–9A2) at apex, reddish brown (9B3–9F5) further down, glabrous. Rhizomorphs moderately abundant, clavate, not capitate, reddish brown to blackish brown (9E7–9F5). context of the pileus thin. Smell and taste indistinctive.</p><p>Basidiospores 5.3–6.8 × 3.0–3.8 μm, Q=1.7–1.8, narrowly ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, amyloid, thin-walled. Basidia 12–18 × 5–7 μm, short clavate, 4-spored. Basidioles clavate. Lamellar edge sterile. Cheilocystidia 18–26 × 7–14 μm, cylindrical, clavate to broadly clavate, with simple to furcate or branched, straight to curved, cylindrical excrescences, 2–5 × 0.5–2 μm, hyaline, colorless, inamyloid, thin-walled. Pleurocystidia absent. Pileus and lamellar trama composed of interwoven hyphae 2–12 mm diam, cylindrical or inflated at septa, hyaline, colorless, dextrinoid, thin-walled. Pileipellis a cutis of 2–5 μm wide, cylindrical hyphae, densely covered with warts and cylindrical excrescences; terminal cells up to 42 × 16 μm. Hyphae of the stipitipellis 2–4 μm diam, cylindrical, with excrescences 1–4 × 1–2 μm, hyaline, colorless, inamyloid, thin-walled. Clamp connections present.</p><p>Habitat:—gregarious on needles of Pinus yunnanensis Franch. var. tenuifolia Cheng et Law.</p><p>Known distribution:— Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.</p><p>Additional material examined: CHINA.
