Vertex slightly produced and blunt, with round black patch at apex. Head slightly narrower than pronotum. Pronotum long. Coronal suture distinct. Face long and narrow almost straight in profile. Anteclypeus small. Fore wing marginal membrane long and narrow, not extended around apex, 1st and 2nd apical cells long and broad, 4th apical cell small and almost triangular. Hind wing submarginal vein not extended to wing apex, subcostal vein not visible at apex. Male abdominal apodemes defined.

Male genitalia. Genital capsule cylindrical. Pygofer side usually much longer than subgenital plate, covered with sculpture of minute teeth along upper margin and provided with a sclerotized extension at hind lower angle; with couple of short, rigid pointed microsetae at hind margin and several gracile microsetae scattered along lower margin. Subgenital plate short generally, broad, with one fingerlike process extended dorsad at apex, setosity restricted to few small rigid pointed setae situated at apex and several very small gracile microsetae at the centre of plate. Connective quite delicate, usually Y- or V- shaped, fused with penis. Paramere with apophysis twisted distad of preapical lobe, well sclerotized, ornamented with sculpture on apical part and provided with sensory pits situated subapically. Penis preatrium small, penis stem tubular, curved dorsad, gonopore apical or subapical.

Distribution.
