The new species can be easily separated from A. agricola by the absence of frontal calli, blackish colour of frons, polished brown colour of subcallus and reddish-brown colour of the abdomen. Atylotus shagrensis sp. nov. is distinguished from A. loewianus by the hairy eyes, absence of frontal calli, colour of subcallus and frons, and reddish-brown colour of the abdomen.

Remarks. Four female specimens of Atylotus loewianus Villeneuve, which were collected in Croatia (8.VIII.1996), were sent to us for examination by Prof. Dr. Stjepan Krčmar from his personal collection (SKC).

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/F542AA7FFFD8FFE400C784413F2BFC32	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
