INDIA: 3 ♂ Himachal Pradesh: Solan: Nauni, 1502 m, 30.8625° N, 77.1679° E, 10.vi.2013, at light, Shashank (NPC).

Remarks. H. thapai was described from Nepal (type not examined). It is recorded here for the first time from India. This species resembles H. gillespiei Dai, Fletcher & Zhang but can be distinguished by the coloration of the median spot on the forewings: the anterior margin of the median spot is dark brown as in H. gillespiei also differs in aedeagus. Illustration provided in the form of photographs can add on information to the earlier descriptions given by Viraktamath and Murthy (2014).

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/FC1B9475FFBF2757FF1884ED70147209	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
