Distribution. The species has been reported from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, and Venezuela (Metcalf 1963a; Boulard & Martinelli 1996; Sanborn 2007, 2011 a, 2013, 2016b, 2020c; Sanborn & Heath 2014; Nunes et al. 2023).
