Zammaralna eximia (Erichson, 1848)

Cicada (Zammara) eximia Erichson 1848: 616 (British Guiana).

Remarks. As listed in the treatment of Zammara guyanensis, specimens listed by Sanborn (2011a) of Zammara eximia were shown to be part of the type series of Zammara guyanensis when the species was erected (Sanborn 2020d). The generic reassignment to Zammaralna was made at that time (Sanborn 2020d).

Distribution. Goemans (2016) studied specimens from Guyana and Venezuela. Nunes et al. (2023) illustrate a specimen from northern Brazil and extended the range into Brazil.
