Distribution. It extends from Cameroon to western Kenya, and southward to Angola and Zambia. In Equatorial Guinea it has been recorded both in Bioko (Roux-Estève 1974) and in Río Muni at Monte Alén National Park (Lasso et al. 2002) (Map 35C).

Specimens examined. No specimens of this taxon have been found in the examined collections.
