Feylinia elegans (Hallowell, 1892)

Acontias elegans Hallowell, 1854: 64 . Type locality: “ Liberia ” or “ Gabon ” (see Schmidt [1919] and Brygoo & Roux-Estève [1983]).

Distribution. With the exception of the dubious type locality from Liberia in West Africa, this species is widespread across Central Africa, from Cameroon to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In Equatorial Guinea it has been recorded in Río Muni at Bata (Brygoo & Roux-Estève 1983) (Map 15B).

Comments. A specimen from Bata is drawn in Brygoo & Roux-Estève (1983), labelled as MNHN 90.359 and housed in the French National Museum of Natural History (MNHN).

Specimens examined. No specimens of this species have been found in the examined collections.
