Distribution. Central Africa, from Cameroon to Central African Republic, southward to the Republic of the Congo. In Equatorial Guinea (Río Muni) it has been recorded by Boulenger (1919) without specific locality (Map 9B).

Comments. No exact locality is known for this species in Equatorial Guinea.

Specimens examined. No specimens of this taxon were found in the examined collections.
