TYPE LOCALITY. 7 km E of Khamir port, Hormozgan Prov., Iran.
DISTRIBUTION. Endemic to Iran.
DISTRIBUTION IN IRAN. Fig. 74. Known only from the type locality .
HABITAT. Calcareous mountains and mountain foothills void of any vegetation except isolated scattered shrubs of Peganum (Zygophyllaceae) under and inside which the lizards take refuge.
REMARKS. Acanthodactylus khamirensis belongs to the micropholis species group (Heidari et al. 2013). REFERENCES. Heidari et al. (2013).
